Thanksgiving Week....Slim pickings

We check in on 11/21, so today was our ADR day. Wow...I'd hate to be checking in 11/22 or after....

I thought the system was just delayed as nothing was available for places and times I was looking for!

Nothing at Liberty Tree / Diamond Horseshoe for Thanksgiving. I do understand this is a popular booking, but it's day 5 of our trip. I thought there might be something early / late left.

Could only get 8:30pm times for Via Napoli

Couldn't get a time for Oga's at all on our first HS day.

Even for Rose and crown, I had to break groups up, just to get times. Rose and Crown!!!

I did leave some space to try for CA Grill (another 2:30am wake up call!) tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed.
 
OMG NO!!! We arrived on Thanksgiving so my ADR is this Saturday :( I want Via Napoli for our Epcot day which is Monday so MAYBE the crowds will be less after the holiday break.
 
I agree. Today was my opening day for ADRs and first, the system kept glitching us out and then I saw there is nothing really available. Ah well, mobile ordering it is

It was terrible this morning. And by "terrible" I mean usual Disney tech. I could only search by each restaurant individually. The function where Disney shows you all available for the day / times you select, wasn't working.

It was a nightmare.

I never have trouble with Amazon's or Apple's sites...

Maybe hire some of those engineers.

I was shocked at how it went this morning as well. I was trying to make a Rose & Crown reservation, and the options were 5:30pm and 7:30pm. I entered one, but I kept getting an error message that my card wasn't processing. A few minutes later, I tried the app, and I didn't get the error, but the only reservation left near 6pm was 4:20pm.
 
I was shocked at how it went this morning as well. I was trying to make a Rose & Crown reservation, and the options were 5:30pm and 7:30pm. I entered one, but I kept getting an error message that my card wasn't processing. A few minutes later, I tried the app, and I didn't get the error, but the only reservation left near 6pm was 4:20pm.
It also told me my card was bad! I re-entered the same one (with exact same details) as a new card and it went through.
 
I was up at 5:40 am and was only able to get one reservation to go thorough. Same issue. Error and said my card was not good?!?
 
The website was an absolute mess this morning. As was the app. The only thing I completely struck out on was Space 220 (not a reservation to be found the whole week), though California Grill isn't live until tomorrow (fingers crossed).

I am happy, but sad that we all had the same issue this morning. I had two computers and my phone app trying to do this. I kept thinking, "Maybe something awesome is about to happen," but alas no dice.
 
We arrive 11/18 for 10 days; we are not doing a sit down everyday of the trip but I was able to get everything I wanted on Sunday. I did run into a lot of gliches on the site.
Be careful booking Steakhouse 71. I booked a lunch and I decided I'd rather do something else. I canceled the reservation, got the email for the cancelation but it is still showing in my plans; now I have to call to fix it and the wait is sooo long. I cant book anything else on that day or time slot until I do UGH!

It is nice to know it wasn't just me. But it sucks for all of us.

However, for all we know, it could be like this every morning right now.
 
Same for the week before. Didn't get anything we wanted - nothing our top 5 from each park. All places on our bottom tier of choices. A lot of people in the same boat. Just keep trying.

A few years ago, we didn't book any restaurants and we went to them when we arrived. Got Royal Table walkup - got Yak and Yeti walkup - got Sci Fi Drive In walk-up - got the Crown at Epcot walkup. Keep the faith. ;)
