I know everyone seems to be going crazy over this merch but I’m just wondering what exactly are you all buying? I haven’t seen anything other than maybe the vault collection that is j must have!

Cab anyone share what they’ve purchased or what they plan to? It seems everyone is going bonkers over this merch

I'd like the spirit jersey and the crocs. I believe I saw an album too. My kids will want the pins. My dh may want the fedora.

I only bought one thing... the plain white t-shirt that has Mickey dressed in his 50th attire. It was impossible to find this shirt in a Medium. I had to rope drop Creations Shop at EPCOT.

I don't know why anyone would buy that one. It's so plain and boring, especially for that price. Kind of like that one t-shirt at Test Track with the Chevy logo on front and back - I've gotten better shirts for free from Chevy at the state fair.

I bought the calendar early, figured it'd be a nice thing to last through the year. Then I bought two plushies, one Mickey and one Minnie.

I'm making a concentrated effort to have that be it unless something amazing comes out.

I also cheated and came into possession of both old Epcot related mystery pins through friends buying the packs and not getting what they wanted.

(I don't know if that Mickey ear hat bowl is normal or part of the retro side of the 50th; I bought that, too.)

My wife loves to shop at Disney (ok... truth be told, so do I). You will probably characterize us as having gone "bonkers" over it, but we passed on any items that we didn't really like. I wasn't interested in getting stuff just because it said 50th on it. But there were a lot of things that we did like.

We decided not to abandon our diets on this trip (both of us managed to lose some weight during the trip), so I ended up cancelling a lot of (somewhat pricey) ADRs. We ate more light meals in our villa and skipped meals if we weren't particularly hungry. I say all that as a preface to my decision to shift that meal money in our budget to shopping. So we splurged on buying more things than we might have otherwise.

Big Top 50th anniversary "day of" merchandise:
Two shirts
"Day of" Pin
Coffee Mug
Water Bottle

Other 50th anniversary items from the park:
Mickey and Minnie 50th Plush dolls
Minnie Sipper
Blue and Pink Balloon popcorn buckets
Several 50th pins from Frontierland Trading Post

Other 50th anniversary items from Disney Springs/WOD:
Several pins from Disney Springs pin store
50th Lanyard and Lanyard Pouch from Disney Springs pin store
Loungefly 50th Minnie Mouse ears
Pair of 50th Magic Bands
50th Fleece Blanket
50th gold-trimmed glassware (pair)
50th Photo Album
50th Photo Frame
50th Castle pendant and earring set
Lego 50th mini-castle
The 50th Loungefly mini-backpack purse was always sold out, but I got my wife a Purple Wall one... which, personally, I like better because the Disney connection is subtle and only those "in the know" get what it is. Even though she liked the 50th one, I just couldn't see my wife using it day to day emblazoned with Mickey, etc. and WDW 50th all over it.

Not 50th merch, but I also splurged on the Star Wars "holographic" chess set and a framed art print of Animal Kingdom Lodge that I've been wanting for quite a while now.

I've got my eyes on that new Mickey popcorn bucket
Us too! We managed to get a Minnie sipper when we were there, but missed out on the matching Mickey popcorn bucket. I have someone who'll (hopefully) be able to pick one up for us next time they visit.

We are in the parks for a quick trip two days later this week. I'm hoping to get that bucket. I forgot about the matching sipper! I bet we have to have that too lol

I bought the 50th crocs the day they were released and love them! I bought two October 1 limited edition magic bands on eBay…way, way overpriced, but I really love it. I would have purchased it in the park, but we were at home on October 1. I can’t wait to wear the magic band next month! The other thing I bought was one of the 50th reusable bags. My DD didn’t want anything except the magic band from eBay.

Wow! That's quite the collection, I'm impressed! :earsboy:

I would have stopped sooner, but Disney didn't have all my money yet. :rotfl2:

It's also worth noting that our lodging was DVC (so pre-paid) and we didn't spend as much on tickets as usual because we only has one park day (MK on October 1st) and spent the rest of the time relaxing at the resort. Between that, and the reduced food spending, our souvenir/shopping budget was a LOT more than we usually spend.

Totally justifiable! I’ll be there early December, I have a long list… You are my inspiration!

I bought the $3 shopping bag and the strap broke already.

Sounds about right the for 50th
