I hope the Epcot/DHS area will see some love next.

It might be next because if this goes on sale in 2024 they are giving VGF 2 years and then you can suspect they will give this 2 years. That puts us in 2026 when Riviera should be getting very close to selling out somewhere in 26/27.

Do we expect an insane point chart? That is the biggest difference between a Poly expansion and the GF expansion. GF already had point charts in place, Poly has no charts for 1BR and 2BR villas. It is a blank canvas for them!

An interesting sub-plot here is how it relates to the 2-BR Poly Bungalows. They are notoriously over-priced in terms of points.. but they couldn't do anything about it without hiking up the point requirements for studios.

This tower could be an opportunity to relieve the bungalows of all of that point pressure and bring it down a bit. This would, of course, mean that they new accommodations would be a higher point requirement.

That stinks never got there and was looking forward to taking the kids there eventually. Next they will say Hoop De Doo is going forever and continue the trend of eliminating unique aspects of Disney World.

i agree on this. The bungalows could really benefit from being in a much larger point pool so that one point in many rooms would alleviate the need for a chunk off points in the bungalow

Spirit of Aloha was poorly attended. Hoop De Doo is beloved.

Yes, I think you should expect a VGF like point chart. The studios are similarly priced already.

If this is same condo association with no resale restrictions, I think that is a pretty good sign we will see them changed moving forward, even at RIV.

Copper Creek opened in 2017. Boulder Ridge expires in 2042.

If no one told me this was the Polynesian expansion, I’d think this is a nice Marriott anywhere. I LOVE the Polynesian but let’s hope this rendering is missing a lot of what’ll make this look and feel Polynesian. MORE TIKI TORCHES PLEASE!

Yeah it looks like a mid-range hotel or nice apartment complex in Austin or Phoenix. I am excited for more 1&2 bedrooms in the area given Poly1 and VGF2 are all studios more or less.

Those comments are about the existing PVB, not new stuff. Poly ALREADY has the largest studios on property.

Given this is a new build my money is on a new association and end date. Won’t guess on restrictions

correct,,all the new add ons are around 10years or under, so stay with same condo assoc.,,,same as using the same expire date early on when adding HH,VB,BWV,BC when OKW is the only that had true 50years.
