i have a question that hopefully some one here will know. with the new dining reservation cancellation, where you can cancel 2hrs or more before your reservation on MDE, does that also apply to the restaurants in Disney Springs? gonna try for a reservation for our first night, but our flight gets in around 7:30pm and has already been pushed back 20 minutes. just want to make sure i can cancel through MDE at least 2hrs before just incase theres more delays.
There's been no official word that you can cancel 2 hours prior and there's been some speculation that it was a glitch. I wouldn't count on the 2 hour cancellation option. However if you do have a flight issue, you may be able to call and explain and have them waive the fee.

You can also Modify your reservation to a date further out, then cancel.

It's very hard to believe you. There is a huge shortage of workers everywhere. I have not gone to any restaurant or hotel since covid without a big issue with a shortage of employees.

It really depends on the place we have ate at many restaurants that are full of staff and no shortage at all, but then also been to places that are struggling. Personally I think people have shifted their mindsets and refuse to work for poorly run places that don't treat the employees well. The places that are full staff and not hiring also all provide far better customer service then the ones struffling.

‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ Sets November Record at The Box Office

According to Disney, Wakanda Forever took in $180 million at the domestic box office. The opening is one of the biggest of the year, but more astonishing is that the sequel has become the highest-grossing debut ever for the month of November. The original record belonged to The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, which made $158 million in November 2013.

Interesting, and a good way to hook people and maybe get subscribers. They really shoudl show the first 3 though because it doesn't really get going until then,

Margot Robbie’s ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ Film Axed At Disney

When asked about some of her future projects, including the Pirates of the Caribbean film trades reported that she’d be starring in, the actress said it was dead. She said, We had an idea and we were developing it for a while, ages ago, to have more of a female-led—not totally female-led, but just a different kind of story—which we thought would’ve been really cool.”

She added that her guess was that Disney doesn’t want to do it anymore.

I think a POTC movie with the Pirate "Redd" would be a good move, but I was never crazy about Margot Robbie being in it. I guess it wasn't coming together, but maybe they can pivot. I suppose now it's possible that a certain actor could be hired....

My biggest complaint with hotels not providing daily housekeeping is the room having no place to hang towels. Many hotels we’ve stayed in don’t even have a hook much less a towel rack to hang up towels after bathing.
This is definitely a huge pet peeve of mine. I'm happy to save the energy to reuse towels, but rooms built to accommodate my family of five often have maybe two hooks on the back of a door. If 5 people can sleep there, 5 towels should be able to hang dry there!
