Page Six: Heir William ordered spare Harry to shave his beard for the wedding.

Apparently William was jealous of Harry, because the queen allowed Harry to keep his beard for the wedding, but had told William to shave for his.

Weird story, not sure I get it.

He wasn't jealous. H was going to wear a uniform during the grandchildren's vigil. Part of that includes being shaved and neatly groomed. It's showing respect for the departed and the uniform.
I was not surprised when H showed up to the vigil with that scruffy beard. He seems to always be concerned about what will make him happy.

Also Page Six: Charles said there was no money to also maintain Meghan. Oh and he was also jealous of Meghan's populariteit.

“Pa might have dreaded the rising cost of maintaining us, but what he really couldn’t stomach was someone new dominating the monarchy, grabbing the limelight, someone shiny and new coming in and overshadowing him,” the royal writes.

That tiara again!

We still dont know what really happened.

In his forthcoming memoir, “Spare,” Prince Harry wrote that while he and Markle were “touched” by the idea of the duchess donning one of Princess Diana’s tiaras on the big day, Queen Elizabeth II begged them to select something from her private collection of jewelry at Buckingham Palace instead.

The Queen and her royal dresser, Angela Kelly, presented five tiaras from which the bride-to-be could choose, with the offerings including one of all emeralds and another with aquamarine stones.

Prince Harry said everyone agreed that one “stood out from the others” and “looked like it was made for Meg,” though he didn’t describe the winning design.
One week later, when the couple inquired with Kelly about borrowing the tiara for Markle’s test with her hairstylist — which Kate Middleton had advised was an arduous process involving sewing the veil to the headpiece and placing it in the exact right location on her head — Harry claims Kelly went silent.
When they finally got in touch with her, she said that the tiara could not leave the palace without “an ordinance and police escort,” Harry wrote. “That seemed to us a little exaggerated,” he added, but he agreed to the protocol as “time was running out.”
“It was obvious they were putting up obstacles, but why? It didn’t occur to us what motives they might have,” he said.
According to Prince Harry,
there were also “heated debates” on whether or not Markle should wear a veil for their ceremony as a divorced woman.

In the category 'details we didn't want to know': Harry is circumcised and had a chilly willy at his brother's wedding (pun intended)

He writes in his memoir, “There were countless stories in books, and papers (even The New York Times) about Willy and me not being circumcised.
“Mummy had forbidden it, they all said, and while it’s absolutely true that the chance of getting penile frostbite is much greater if you’re not circumcised, all the stories were false. I was snipped as a baby.”

Harry’s confession arose as he detailed getting frostbite at his oldest brother’s pre-wedding dinner.
The ex-royal shared that on the frigid excursion, he’d gotten frostbitten ears and cheeks but declined to mention that his phallus had also experienced some adverse reaction to the chilly weather.
“Upon arriving home I’d been horrified to discover that my nether regions were frost nipped as well,” he writes.
“And while the ears and cheeks were already healing, the todger wasn’t. It was becoming more of an issue by the day.”

The injured royal used Elizabeth Arden cream on his afflicted member — on the advice of a friend, who we assume did not have a medical degree — until he finally consulted a doctor.
“Time heals,” the professional intoned, and presumably Harry’s organ did organically heal as he and Meghan Markle share two children, Archie, 3, and Lilibeth, 1, together.

Just my thoughts - Soon Harry won't have much more to whine about. He is living his own life here now. He needs to give out juicy details to sell and try to get people to side with him/them/get attention. How much longer. How many books can he write. He won't be living a lifetime with the Royals where he can write about "new juicy details".

I almost feel sorry for him - sometimes and not for long. For a couple who wanted privacy and live a "normal" life, they sure have a funny way of doing it.

Live your life, go about your business and try to make money without bringing the Royal family into it anymore.

It's not over There was a four book deal and Markle's memoir is next.

Sadly, I think all of this publicity is really going to help Megan’s career.
I can see her on the real housewives of Beverly Hills.
I just heard Lisa Rinna is leaving, so she ‘s got an in if she moves quickly. :rolleyes1
Not sure the viewers would approve. Rinna left because fans were tired of her toxic behavior. H&M are just as nasty imo

H&M's Netflix wrapped up at the same time the Princess of Wales held The Carol Service in honor of the late Queen Elizabeth iI. Harry's PR interviews will air Sunday the 8th of January with his book release two days later. Catherine the Princess of Wales will celebrate her 41st birthday on the 9th of January. The timing is not a coincidence.

MM seems to land on her feet. Harry is the one who I worry is at risk here. I fear he’s had some very bad advice and maybe not the best therapy.

Ya, the more coming out, it seemed that he never been able to get over the who fiasco of his parents relationship and his mother's death-and has made him particularly vulnerable to negative actors-intentional or not* And while I try not to judge, it sound like MM seems have that personality that amplifies those vulnerabilities.

*Yes he's a 40 year old man, but there are events that one person can eventually get over another cannot. I know part the scares that affected most of my Grandfather adult life was the uncle basically robbing his father-which when the uncle died and nothing paid back was devastating enough that he died the next day-and leaving him with nothing once he got back from the war. Yes, most people would bounce back, but Grampie's scyhie was such that he couldn't (or wouldn't, never was 100% known which) that made sometime a...mean man to be around.

I feel we need a recap of all the stuff. It's a shame that there are so many weird details and petty things coming out that it overshadows a quite sad section about Diana's death. That's what the memoir should have been about.

So, last night / this morning I found some bits and pieces worth thinking about from columnists and reactions:
- One tried to find a dog bowl that's so flimsy it breaks when you fall on it. Most dog bowls are very sturdy because dogs (and dogs' jaws) are very strong.
- A therapist wonders which therapist allows to be on speed dial to be called at all times of day. That's not very professional
- There are many newspapers pointing out the contradicting thing that Harry has a a therapist on speed dial, but his wife can't get help.
- A colonel pointed out: Boasting about your Taliban kill count paints a target on your back. This is a nightmare for his security team.
- Maureen Callahan notes that Harry apparently always was a narcissistic, petty man, Megxit didn't turn him in one.
She also notices that Harry feels the need to mock his father, there is apparently also a sentence about Charles' teddy.

That last thing made me think, there might not be big things to hurt Charles, but it's more a thousands little cuts.
Charles didn't hug him after Diana's death, and basically lied to him that it 'all would be ok', the way Charles begged William and Harry not to fight after Phillip's funeral, his father strange habit of handstands on advice of a physical therapist for back pain, his father's teddy is pitiful. His father apologized for not getting him therapy sooner, Harry appreciated the apology but the therapist wasn't good because the therapist prescribed pills (and Harry didn't want pills).
It's all little knives in Charles' back to paint him as a weak man.

What else happen?
James Haskell made me giggle. (Rugby buddy of Mike Tindall) He also fought with his brother and his wife is quite difficult to some. Buy his book! :D

New clip came out from the Tom Bradby interview, discussing that there is quite some drugs and that this might surprise people.

Eh.... not really, Harry has said before he did do drugs (we only didn't know which ones) to forget.

And now, it is not a secret at all anymore. Is it, Tom?

Tom Bradby's interview is for the UK market, who are now bombarded with all the stuff in Harry's book, making this clip a bit obsolete.

The people who are going to buy the book, already have an interest in the lives of royals. There will be only a few people who pick up the book with no knowledge of Harry's antics.
