I watch real soccer, so I won’t miss T.L. . But I’m happy that most of the actors are real life soccer fans.

I've not met anybody who's watched it that doesn't love this show. We enjoyed the first episode last night and sure wish Apple would drop them all at once so we could have a long-awaited binge.

I just wish those who like the show would give their local/national soccer teams a chance. And yes, I know many who just like the show will never give the sport a chance too. Again it’s just my wishfull thinking.

I've watched half of the first ep of the new season, I stopped because I just wasn't in the mood. Pretty sure I'll be good after this season.

I've watched the first two seasons and am excited for the third, but haven't watched it yet. Whether I want a fourth will depend on where they go with the third.

I really enjoyed the first season and the second season up until the Beard episode. Watched the season 3 premiere yesterday...it's missing some of its original lightheartenedness. I don't like seeing people treating others badly, too much of that in recent episodes.

We didn't watch TL until the second season was about 1/2 way through.....and we loved it. It was such a treat being able to binge the first 1.5 seasons. I wish Apple would have at least given us 3 episodes to get us back in.....it's been awhile. But I thought the first ep of season 3 was good.

OMG...I forgot about that episode. Yes, I loved the show and really looked forward to every episode and then that episode was just horrendous. I couldn't even watch the whole thing; I just stopped. It was so bizarre. I remember thinking ok any second now they're going to the regular show. I definitely hope they don't have anything like that again.

I haven't watched this one yet, but the lightheartedness is what I loved and I do remember at the end it was getting a lil dark for my taste so we'll see.

Well, in fairness, it isn't really about the soccer.

Well, yes and no. But Apple and NBC were partly hoping that those who watch the show would also tune into their soccer programs as well. The same being true with Disney and Welcome to Wrexham.

I looove this show.. watched SE3E1 the other day.. in a way I am glad they aren't realizing all at once or 3 a week.. I totally binged the other seasons. nice way to force me to spread it out

It's been a part of a process for me. I watched the World Cup regularly, then became a Ted Lasso fan, then started watching EPL extended highlights on YouTube. Now I watch all the EPL I can get on the weekends and have unofficially decided to root for Liverpool.

I might've got there eventually, but without Ted Lasso it probably wouldn't have happened yet.

As for the premiere: I liked it, but I hate seeing Roy and Keely's situation. Felt like he gave up too easily, and that's not in his nature. Also, I thought Nate becoming West Ham manager at the end of last season felt contrived, and IMHO it's not wearing much better now. We'll see where the season goes.
