Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween 2023 Super Thread

I was on the ticket purchase page on my phone and it kicked me back to the queue. Hope that didn't happen to her.
No, we already purchased our tickets earlier today but she *just* now got her queue to start counting down (after waiting since 8:45am) and that happened. It's all so crazy.
 
This is ludicrous. They need to add more dates next year. At least an extra party a week.

Sold out in 1 day.
Technically it sold out in two days.

Do they not do weekends because they will make
more money with full attendance instead of the party. Makes sense but sucks as well
 
I got in early this morning, have been using two browsers each on both my phone and my laptop (4 total), and never got past >1 hr wait and the green line 50% loaded. I'm so frustrated, this has been two entire days spent trying to get 2 tickets with zero payoff (and I know I'm not the only one). How can it possibly be this bad?

Yea, but its not really sold out, its just that scalpers got in, there is plenty of tix available, just that they are on the black market now. Disney hasn't figured out how to stop them, so they keep doing it.

I have three up (two browsers, one phone) and my husband has two up as well, and the furthest we've gotten is ALMOST to the end of the word "tickets" on one of our attempts.

And Disney can’t stop them. I don’t understand. I thought the tickets couldn’t be transferred so I have no clue how they sell them
 
Suuuuuch a letdown -- Halloween is my birthday, and my kids 9 and 11 have been excited since last fall when we booked the resort stay... praying for some pixie dust,
I hope you get them, but I really hope VGC and VDH owners caught up in the mess will write to DVC and tell the what a horror show this has been and it certainly isn't a good way to encourage people to buy DVC points. We booked VGC for the weekend before Halloween and I managed to get tickets in the last fiasco on 6/29, but I will be writing them. I hope new owners of VDH are complaining to their guides about this.

And what do you think writing them will accomplish? Absolutely nothing. This is a massive demand every year yet people fell have Thais send of entitlement they should get tickets regardless. That’s not how it works. Sometimes you get them and other times you don’t.
 
Don't give up and don't click off of the browsers yet. I'm still seeing some available dates (some dates are not popping up on refresh) but there are still some dates available
I have been hitting refresh since 12:01 (NJ Time), my dates were available at first then each time this appears, "Your request to add tickets can’t be processed. The event date or the number of tickets selected is not available. Please select an available date or change the number of tickets requested." Kept changing dates, ticket amounts and same words came up. My dates sold out, then came back and then sold then came back..........all had same message. I have had many problems with Disney websites over the years, never anything like this. Lets not forget the original date they want on sale.
 
I am also feeling really fortunate that I secured ticketing for myself, and then I mix in a huge dose of sadness I kept my queue open since 8:45PST today but was unable to secure a ticket for my friend to join me, and she couldn't get through in time, either.
