Our weather ran through all the spectrums. We had sunshine, we had blue skies, we had high winds. We had clouds, and we had snow. At one point it was snowing so hard I couldn't see across the street. None of it stuck but it looked like a blizzard for awhile.

I put a small roast in the crock pot this morning with multicolored baby potatoes and baby carrots. I'm going to steam some fresh broccoli to go with it. I felt like making myself a whole meal for a change. Debating if I'm going to watch or tape the Oscars or just watch the Red Carpet.

I was just out to the curb with my organics bin for pickup in the morning and it was sleeting here. It says snow for the next couple of hours. But tomorrow is 50ties.

I have such exciting news to share. I just posted this in the Disneyland Section because I had posted a thread earlier this afternoon asking some reservation questions. Guess what?! Dad and I now each have a SoCal Resident 3-Day one park (Disneyland only--we have no interest in CA Adventure) starting on my birthday! Today is Champ's 35th birthday and I absolutely know he along with my grandparents and Christ are extra celebrating. It seemed fitting to purchase after prayer these two tickets today as it is exactly two months out. Dad is excited too and said, of course, he will be much more so, when we actually go. Kind Disneyland Section Disboarders confirmed for me earlier that indeed in order to make a reservation at Disneyland, you must have a valid ticket for that day or days. I hadn't realized that (We haven't been to Disneyland since my birthday in 2019 so this will mark exactly 5 years since our last trip) I did call Disneyland as well. A CM assured me that should we not be able to use our tickets (which of course we beyond pray does not happen) even though the special ticket offer will have expired, the money we spent on each ticket will still be valid and can be applied toward the purchase of a future admission to Disneyland so we aren't risking losing $550 which of course is the last thing we would want to do especially since all this was a gift, a small but HUGE to us miracle God made possible through several friends and one family member. It just feels so uplifting to have this trip to more officially look forward. It certainly provides me all the extra prayer and motivation to do all I can and then some to be completely healed and healthy by then! Tomorrow morning I will call Dr. B's office. Should I still get no answer as was the strange result all day on Friday. I will immediately call Dr. S's office to make my appointment. Dad will be seeing Dr. S this coming Thursday.

Thank you all forever for your prayers always for my dad and me. Thank you for your belief in me and that I am by God's Grace alone (all Glory only and forever to Him, nothing I did or am doing) am and will continue to heal. Dad, too. I once read a story in one of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books about a young woman who was seeing a counselor. God used the counselor to help the woman believe in herself. At the end of the story, the woman thanks her friend, the counselor as she is a much better place in life for, "believing her well." I thank all of you for believing dad and I well of feet and otherwise! I will absolutely update tomorrow,

Please as always remember to never wait to tell someone you love or care for that you do. Allow them to do the same for you. Cherish every moment as the blessing extra from God it is and thank Him forever for it. I thank Him extra and daily for all of you.

Here is it 31 with temps going into the low 40s. It is supposed to be very windy. Then tomorrow it will be in the mid 50s followed by 60s on Wed. I lost power last evening for about 10 minutes. After the fact they sent out a text saying power was out. Yes, we know. It was not that windy so not sure why the power went out. They said 2037 customers were affected which is probably most of the town. Yesterday was a quiet day. It was a tough day to get through. I did alot of walking. I decided not to make any meals for the week. I am just winging it this week with turkey or roast beef low carb wraps or a bean burrito. I am not in the mood to cook lately so I just won't. Kenny called to let me know they got all the days they needed for his dog in the kennel so I do not have to stay with his one night and then take him to the kennel. I am so thankful as he is a strong dog and I do not feel like I could handle him well enough. We are starting to make our plans for our cruise in August. We know what we are going to do in Bermuda and now just need to see what days will have the best weather for our plans.

Good Monday Morning.

Wow, was it cold and windy yesterday. Nothing exciting weatherwise for this week, I think just normal temps and some rain here and there.

We went to our pancake breakfast yesterday at the lodge of one of our county parks. All you can eat pancakes and sausage for $10 per person . Mia didn't waste any time eating her share. She didn't even wait for Evan & Bailey to bring her back a plate, she started in on Jacob's pancakes.

Was planning to do my ironing yesterday but ended up cleaning the house and litter boxes so I didn't feel like standing to iron for an hour. I'll do one day this week.

Dumbo - so glad you get to go to Disneyland soon!!!! I've never been to California so take lots of pictures to show us!

Good morning. Still a bit windy, and cold, but temps will start climbing by afternoon. We had some snow last night, there were some spots on the ground, and I saw the sanding trucks up and down the road last night, so the roads must have been slick. Tomorrow I'll be able to turn the heat off and open the windows again. It's crazy.

I watched the Oscars, ff'ing through the ads and boring speeches. It ended a few minutes early, but then again they started at 7 instead of 8.

Today is kitchen cleaning day. Emptying off the counters and wiping everything down. Then the stove, fridge and sinks. I'll throw the curtains in the washer just to freshen them up. Last will be doing the floors. It's going to take me awhile, so I'm going to get started.

I started watching but was already tired of the same movie winning by 8:00, switched over and watched Coco. I like when you really don't know who is going to win but it's the same movie over and over (well 2 movies this year), same with music awards. I was happy with who won for best song.

I guess I should clarify that they are live.

Are they the hotel greeters? Better yet, are you allowed to pet them? If you can, I would just sit down next to them and pet them for hours. If people want a picture, they'll need to deal with me being in it also.

The hotel does special stuff daily for the guests and I think this is one of their attractions but they are not always there. One day it was a sauce making demonstration or class. Another day they went joy riding (my words) on 4 wheelers. These activities are included in a fee you pay.

I am very thankful to share that I will be seeing Dr. B Friday at 2--my preferred day and time this week. The receptionist R, who
answered the phone, gave me the doctor's email address so that I can briefly reach out to share the reason for my visit and X Ray beforehand. I will share any reply and of course an update afterwards. Dad will be seeing Dr. S, a different podiatrist, Thursday morning. Dad and I both, God willing, are taking huge healing steps and toward being able to go see in May. We are so blessed and thankful. Hugs to all, always.

Good morning. Woke up to no internet so had to reboot. It went out during the night. Maybe due to the wind but the wind lessened as the night went on. It is 35 here now and heading to around 50. I hope the sun stays out today. I went to BJs yesterday in my town. My company gets a cut rate for membership so for $20 I thought I would check it out. I doubt I will renew as it really isn't for me. I did buy peanut butter, storage bags, and a book. The BJ's in Kenny's town is better so I will check them out. Books are a good price so I can make up the membership cost with those. Today I am hoping to go to the gym after work.

We’re having corned beef today with DSis and her Honey. We travel to WDW on Sunday, and today is the day that worked for out St Patrick celebration together. It’s in the crock pot.

Sunny, and not quite as windy today.

We’ll do some grocery shopping, and then SVdP meeting this afternoon.

I checked Orlando’s forecast for next week, and it doesn’t look like swimming weather. The best day is Sunday, our travel day. Tuesday, rain…then highs only in 70’s. Oh well! We are there for Flower Show experiences!
