Busses at Pop vs Movies

We always stay at Pop Century and overall I love the resort, but the last few times we've gone the bus stops are SO crowded in the mornings. More than they were in the past. It's really frustrating. We always leave with what used to be enough time to get to the parks way before rope drop but with the wait times now, it seems we need to leave our room even earlier. I'm wondering if it's better at All-Star Movies (the only All-Star we'd consider staying at.) I've read that busses are shared between all the All-Stars so maybe this makes it just as crowded as Pop?

RE: Bus sharing: The only time All Stars share a bus is during the middle of the day when there are less people riding. In the morning and in the evenings each All Star has its own bus.

All Star Movies has 1920 rooms while Pop Century has 2880 rooms. The POP bus lines are going to be busier than any of the All Stars during times when the All Stars aren't sharing a bus, simply by virtue of the fact that there are nearly 1000 fewer rooms of people to accommodate.

Hard to tell since they may just send fewer buses to ASMo because there are fewer people there.

When we were at Pop in December the lines at the bus stops were ridiculous, but they had a very steady stream of buses coming through so the actual wait wasn't as bad as it looked.

I know POP has more rooms, but it really seems like the bus situation is about equal at both resorts. Movies is swamped as well. In the morning at movies they are pretty good at sending regular buses, but the lines are still massive. At night their lines are also the worst. So much so that I've occasionally taken the Music bus and just walked the rest of the way to movies. Having stayed at both in the last couple months, I found it very comparable, which I know isn't the answer that you were hoping for.

Stayed at both resorts in 2017 and the buses were equally packed at both Pop and Movies. The absolute worst was leaving the park right before extra magic hours ended at the MK. We must've waited in line about a half hour just to get on a bus to head back.

As a previous poster stated bus sharing only goes on during the low volume times. When it's busy at park opening and park closing buses are constantly running for just 1 resort and no sharing goes on at that time.

I've stayed at both and can tell you that the bus lines at POP are insane long. We found the bus transport to be more efficient at Movies.
