Disney Hilton Head - non-DVC cash booking

Around 8-10 years ago, I used to be able to book rooms in August at Hilton Head straight through the website or through hotel booking sites. (I think it was Orbitz back then.) After 2 trips, I couldn't find any rooms to book until last summer. I felt like I won the lottery. Is there any secret...

Security getting into resorts for non-ADR dining

I've heard security gets tight for resort parking. Would there be a problem going into Coronado Springs to eat breakfast at El Mercado de Coronado (formerly Pepper Market)? That place doesn't take ADRs.

Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Hi, all. Going to YC in 2 days! 1st timer! Just wanted to confirm this: it looks like there is a microwave available for guest use in the Market at Ale and Compass. Is this still there? Thanks.

**Disney After Hours-Hollywood Studios** FAQ & Discussion Thread

Oh, I'm totally doing this event solo in February. I'm at a conference at the Yacht Club. This'll be a great way to get out and spend my night.

**Disney After Hours - Magic Kingdom** FAQ & Discussion Thread

Actually, I have old 10-day non-expire tickets, and my stay at the resort is longer than days of FP's. So, I don't think I should worry. Thanks.

**Disney After Hours - Magic Kingdom** FAQ & Discussion Thread

Hmm.... It's always the last day of FP+ that get booted? So, let's say I make FP+ for my last day that I won't plan on using (won't be in the park that day), then it shouldn't be a problem. Right? RIGHT?

**Disney After Hours - Magic Kingdom** FAQ & Discussion Thread

Excellent & informative. Thanks. One specific question regarding MBs/MDE - if I'm entering the park at 7pm (regular hours of operation), how can I make sure that the DAH ticket gets used and not one of my full park tickets accidentally? (I've had a bad experience in the past with wrong tickets...

    The VOID solo?

So excited for my solo trip in February. Have a conference at the Yacht Club and want to maximize my experience outside of those times I'm busy. Luckily I have 2 Disney After Dark events. But to the point... I've never done The Void at Disney Springs. Looks super cool - especially with the...

    O'hana breakfast rookie question

Well, thanks to Touring Plans Reservation Finder, I was able to switch it over to 1900 Park Fare. The unknown of the Family Style can't beat the buffet for "controls" and "knowns." Maybe I'll give it another try some other time. For those who helped with advice, thank you.

    O'hana breakfast rookie question

Thanks for that. It's helpful advice. I'm gonna give it a go anyway. We'll have our kosher meals & fruit and drinks anyway. I'm feeling more confident about the experience. It's this coming Friday. I'll let you know how it goes

Frozen on Broadway - Opening night!

Wow, many of the reviews for the show are not kind. I have to say, after stepping back from it, it wasn't the most AMAZING show I've seen, but it was a blast. I wouldn't let that stop you from enjoying the show. (Still liked Lion King & Newsies better, & Tarzan & Little Mermaid were not as...

    O'hana breakfast rookie question

Yup. Did that one already. I've had nothing but the most pleasant experiences with buffets - Chef Mickey's, Tusker House, Crystal Palace, Goofy's Kitchen, Storytellers Cafe. I'm just new to the Family Style way, and I'm surprised a fairly ubiquitous breakfast food wouldn't be available.

    O'hana breakfast rookie question

Thanks to those who told me that it's family style and if it's not on the menu, go to a buffet. Buffet or no buffet, cereal is available at any breakfast I can fathom at any hotel or restaurant. That's why I'm asking - it's a breakfast staple. That's why I'm shocked it ain't here. (Same with...

    O'hana breakfast rookie question

So, it's my first time doing O'hana - or any "Family Style" all you can eat meal. We are kosher and limited in our diet. I haven't seen anywhere that there are cereals available for breakfast at O'hana. Am I missing something? I mean, how can you not have cereals?! The menu doesn't have it...

Frozen on Broadway - Opening night!

That was a wonderful show. They did a great job of taking the film story and making it their own. Musical numbers were great - First Time in Forever was my favorite - and the new songs were good too. If you find yourself in NYC - see it. (If you can't get tickets, see Aladdin - I loved that...

Frozen on Broadway - Opening night!

Okay, I'm in the theater. Mostly adults. A few kids (one dressed as Elsa), but definitely feels more of a Broadway crowd than a Disney on Ice crowd. (I was concerned.) Lot's of merchandise for sale - surprised? Gonna turn my phone off. 5 minutes till curtain!

    Looking for creative solutions

Okay - here's what we did: Rented 2 2-BRs, 1 1-BR, and 1 studio at BLT. All on same floor & same side of horseshoe. Worked out great. Not a big fan of that resort, but works great for transportation & was very practical Thanks, team!
