Hello all,
We will be at DW for on 11/22 (afternoon) and 11/23 without passes to the parks - they start on 11/25. We are going to the Hoop-De-Doo on Sat night though.
What fun stuff can we do during that time?
Our group is mostly adults + 3 children + 2 teenagers.
Any suggestions???
Thanks, in advance!

Go to Downtown Disney. Take bathing suits if it's hot and the kids can play in the fountains and also play at the Lego store. Rain Forest Cafe is fun but if it's too pricey there's also a McDonald's there. Lots of other stores and the teens might like to go to the ones on the West Side. We always get our picture taken at Studio M and depending on which hotel you're at you can take a boat to Downtown. If you're a chocoholic like me, don't forget to hit Ghirardelli's. Have fun!!

Go to Hoop de doo early and spend some time at FW - petting zoo, the barn, a great store.

Drive around to the hotels and check out the Christmas decorations at the different resorts. Get a PS or two for hotel restaurants like 1900 Park Faire, Chef Mickey's. Ride the boat around the lagoon at the Boardwalk. Play minigolf at any of the minigolf courses. Swim at your hotel. Ride the monorail.

DW an I always like to drive around cities we have never seen. Call me crazy but we like to look around new cities and even if they are not tourist destination cities...just look around.

We always like checking out other resorts when we are not in the parks. This includes their gift shops which carry exclusive to that resort merchandise. Miniature golf is fun too, or playing tennis. Downtown Disney offers many great shops and restaurants or snack places too. :D

We have a sort of set thing when going down for the first day since we never know what time we will arrive, even with annual passports we do the free stuff around the world. Never seeing the christmas splendor we checked in to our resort, the Beach Club and and walked to the buses at the front of EPCOT and got on the monorail to the TTC. From here we get on the resort loop monorail and stop at all the resorts and check out their holiday finery. The Polynesian. Grand Floridian and Contemporary. From the Contemporary we take the boat over to Fort Wilderness and see the petting zoo and must visit the horse barn and its usually late by now we have a pizza or two at Crocketts Tavern and a few pitchers of beer till the Water Show starts around 9:30 pm at their boat dock. From here you can see the MK fireworks cause they now spread out into the lake islands in front of the MK, really great. Then be bus back to our resort for a late night swim and get ready for a full day tomorrow. Hope this helps, its our favorite thing to do and have a safe trip and a wonderful holidays at Disney.
