So we went to Disneyland this year from August 23-25, and we stayed at the Grand Californian.
Day 1- Disneyland Park Part 1, Storytellers Café, and Goofy's Kitchen:
On the first day, we went to Storytellers Café for breakfast. We met Chip 'n' Dale, Kenai, Koda, and Pluto. In the past we've seen Terk, Meeko, Br'er Bear, Br'er Fox, and even Baloo. Storytellers Café offers the usual breakfast food, and I think it's one of the best character meals on property.
After breakfast we headed over to Disneyland Park. We met all 8 of the Mickey characters and the Queen of Hearts on Main Street U.S.A. We rode the Jungle Cruise, the Magic Carpets, and met Moana, Aladdin, Jasmine, and the Genie. Continuing on, we rode Big Thunder Mountain, met Tiana in New Orleans Square, and headed to Critter Country to ride the Pooh attraction. We saw Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore all at once, and after we rode the ride, they were still there, and Rabbit had came out too.
We went to Tomorrowland and rode the Buzz Lightyear ride, Space Mountain, and Star Tours, and we met Darth Vader, Chewbacca, and Boba Fett at the Launch Bay, as well as some Stormtroopers wandering around. Then, we went to Royal Hall (We did this meet-n-greet twice) and met Cinderella, Ariel, and Belle. Then, we rode Peter Pan, Pinocchio's Daring Journey, and met the Queen, Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Merida, and the Fairy Godmother. By the wWishing Well, we met Snow White, and the Seven Dwarfs were meeting there too for a limited time starting August 18. For dinner, we went to Goofy's Kitchen, and met Goofy, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Chip 'n' Dale.
Day 2- Disneyland Park Part 2, Minnie's Breakfast in the Park, and Tangaroa Terrace:
On Day 2, we went to Disneyland Park again to finish up Fantasyland, do Royal Hall again to see if there were any different princesses meeting, and explore Toontown. We went to Royal Hall first, and this time we saw Cinderella, Aurora, and Rapunzel.
We rode the Matterhorn Bobsleds and met Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy in Toontown, and stopped for lunch at Pluto's Doghouse. Afterwards, we met Tinker Bell, Iridessa, and Silvermist at Pixie Hollow (Iridessa and Silvermist were there for character training). We went back to Royal Hall, and they had swapped the princesses. This time we got Snow White, Jasmine, and Cinderella. Afterwards, we watched Mickey's Soundsational Parade, went to the hotel to relax in the pool, and went to DCA. First we met Mickey, Goofy, and Donald on Buena Vista Street, and explored Grizzly Peak and A Bug's Land so we could get those areas out of the way. We ate dinner at Tangaroa Terrace.
Day 3- Disney California Adventure, Surf's Up Breakfast, Ariel's Grotto, and Carthay Circle:
On Day 3, we went to the Surf's Up Breakfast and met Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Daisy, Goofy, and Stitch. Afterwards, we explored Paradise Pier, and rode Toy Story Midway Mania, Mickey's Fun Wheel, California Screamin', Goofy's Sky School, and the Little Mermaid attraction. We also met Woody, Jessie, and Buzz near the Toy Story ride, and Elena and Nick & Judy nearby. In Hollywood Land, we rode Guardians of the Galaxy- Mission: Breakout!, and met Star-Lord, Gamora, and Groot. We also met Captain America,
Spider-Man, Anna, Elsa, and Olaf. We had lunch reservations at Ariel's Grotto, and we met Ariel in the front of the restaurant. In the dining room, we met Cinderella, Rapunzel, Tiana, and Belle. Aurora, Snow White, and sometimes Jasmine can also appear here too.
In Cars Land we met Lightning McQueen, Tow Mater, Red the Fire Truck, and Cruz Ramirez. We rode Radiator Springs Racers and then we were finished for the day, so we headed to Buena Vista Street to meet Minnie, Donald, and Daisy (who were scheduled to meet that day). Then we watched the PIXAR Play Parade, and went to Downtown Disney. For dinner we ate at Carthay Circle and we also watched World of Color.
Overall, this trip was fun, perhaps the most fun Disneyland trip.
