2018 Daytona 500

The first race of the 2018 NASCAR season is the Daytona 500 on SUNDAY, February 18th.

The format is pretty simple. You pick 5 different drivers and a spare. We add up where thhe drivers finish and divide by 6. That becomes your score for the week.

You pick a spare in the event one of the drivers you pick fails to qualify or misses the race for some reason.

In the rare event you have a driver that misses a race as well as the spare you pick. the score used will be as if your driver finished last in that race.

There will be a default thread posted after this thread posts. Defaults are used in case you miss a week in making picks. We allow defaults to be used 5 times in a season.

During the season, NASCAR has an All Star race. If you wish to voluntarily make picks for the ALL Star race, that score will be used to fill in for a missed week or that score replaces the worst score of the season up to the All Star race.
