Spill the beans...good or bad! What was good what was not!!!! Looking forward to going in June!!!!!

I'd like to know also. However, I have read two different reviews of the Tres Leches cake-one review said how outstanding it was, the other said it wasn't good at all. So go figure!

Everyone has different tastes. Over the years items I've liked at different festivals others have totally panned. I'm happy they've changed some of the required items for the Garden Graze this year because I hated several of what the choices were last year including the Impossible Short Rib thing that was on it. Not thrilled about the Potato Pancake with Applesauce from Germany but the Grilled Baby Vegetables were really good last year. I also don't like Coconut so I may get one of the other options twice to get the free Dole Whip Surprise even though reviews of it have been mixed as usual. But I tend to agree with most reviews that Italy's choices are usually underwhelming. I don't go until June so looking forward to reading some reviews other than the usual bloggers.

I too am looking forward to enjoying the food and would like some feedback. I want to do the Garden Graze for the cute glass. I am also curious on how the lines are currently.

Granted it's not the food and wine fest....I figured it would replace a couple ressies worth of dining....but I guess not.

Surprised there are no reviews popping up here.

There's a phone app called Food&Wine that has user submitted star ratings for every Epcot festival food and drink, might help in your search.

So here's what we tried last Friday-
  • Beef tips in canada, always pretty good. beef is a little chewy but sauce is great. I don't know if it's different beef but I swear this dish tastes better during Food & Wine.
  • Frushi in Japan. Not my fave but my daughters think it's the best thing ever!
  • Taco Vampiro in Mexico- it's pretty good flavor but depending on time of day you order it, it could be less crispy and more chewy if it's been "heat lamping" for a while
  • Pretzel bread and potato pancake- Germany- both pretty good but again, the cheese consistency on the pretzel bread will vary based on lamp time
  • Violet lemonade at pineapple promenade by port of entry- sweet and refreshing
  • Sunshine griddle by test track- enjoyed the avocado toast and cinnamon bites, kids liked the fruit loops shake.
We missed a few of our faves last week when we were too full but we'll be back.

The honey cheesecake from the Bee-stro was a family favorite on our trip last week. The dark chocolate raspberry tart in the UK was a disappointment because the bottom crust was very dry and bland.

La Isla Fresca -
Arepas with queso - very good 8/10
Arepas with chorizo - excellent 9/10 - the chorizo were better with more flavor and a little spice, but the regular queso were more popular with my picky kids
Coconut tres leches - very good 7/10 - wasn’t particularly coconut-y to me, but still a good tres leches cake

Fleur de Lys - goat cheese croissant- perfection 10/10 - flaky, buttery, garlicky, creamy deliciousness- my favorite festival item

Cider House
BLT scone - just okay 5/10 - not super flavorful and pretty dry
Cider flight - very good 7/10 - be aware that these ciders are on the sweeter side so if you prefer a tart cider, these aren’t for you
Dark chocolate raspberry tart - very good 8/10 - flavors all paired nicely and we all enjoyed

Honey Beestro
Honey and sweet corn spoon bread - excellent 9/10 - very nice combo of nice moist spoon bread with sweet from the honey and heat from the jalapeño
Lavender honey mustard chicken flatbread - very good 8/10 - lots of great flavors with the chicken, honey ricotta and veggies
