Had a great day in the park with my Sweetpea. Just wanted to share our day with you.
Got to the park an hour prior to opening. Too bad the parking lot wasn't opened at the time. For some reason they didn't let us park until almost 8:30am. Was able to get into the park before it opened still. Got our locker, dropped off some gear and we were off.
Headed off to AL and got FP for Indy and then went straight over to SM. (the Sweetpea's fave). Got there so fast that they weren't even loading guests yet. Next made a stop at Pooh. Tigger was actually riding in the car behind us. Sweet Pea got a great kick out of that. HM was the next on our list. Headed over to ride Indy using our FP but made a stop at POTC to get a FP for it. Rode Indy, Jungle Cruise and did the tree house before heading back to POTC.
Sweetpea needed a churro break after we got our FP for BTMRR. Jumped on the riverboat but not before the Disney Jazz Band joined us on the trip around the Rivers Of America. After that, made way to the Tiki Room, used our FP for BTMRR and then got another FP for SM (like I said Sweetpea's fave).
We then made our way to Matterhorn, Storybook boats, IASW, then we were off to Toontown. FP for RogerRabbit while we waited to ride Gadget coaster. Did a bit of shopping, Sweetpea got a Mickey bar (another fave), and goofed around in the town before heading out to catch a showing of Club Buzz.
After Buzz we did the Autopia, made another pit stop at the locker, took a ride on the train and made it back to use of SM FP. Hopped on the rafts and went on over to the island for a bit of silly fun before grabbing some dinner at the Village Haus.
Went on the FL rides - Peter Pan, Mr.Toad's, Casey Jr, Carousel and Dumbo before we made a pit stop at the wishing well (our tradition) and headed back to the locker to get our sweatshirts. Rode Star Tours then did some more shopping. Got some things for family and then picked out our pins.
Now its getting late so we found a good spot to see the fireworks, and then once they were over sprinted over to grab a seat to see Fantasmic before we headed home.
Over all had a great day and was very pleased with the amount of things we were able to do in the one day. We were able to do everything we had set out to do and saw the shows we wanted to see.
Can't wait to go back.
