I hope you and your family are well. Here it hasn't snowed the last few days. Instead the weather is warmer (above freezing point) which means icy roads again.

Sorry that I haven't checked in for a few days... Life has thrown us for a loop.

Aside from staying busy with this week's bag...

Allison's mono has flaired up again, in a big way. It came out of the blue, and she is just as swollen, tired and running a fever. She is miserable. We are not sure what to do? She is scheduled for 3 full shifts this weekend at Target, she called in for tonight's shift - but I am not sure what we are going to do about the rest of them? She is so upset because she WANTS to work, but I am afraid that it's work that has sent her into this relapse. I plan on talking to them today when I go in to get V from school... It is possible that I can help out in some way, and take one of her shifts. We'll see.

Anyways... Sorry for no replies today and yesterday... It's just been a little bit crazy.

THanks everyone... She had a rough morning yesterday morning. I was able to email with her Dr. - I will be taking her in next week. I just feel badly for her - we really thought she had been fully recovered for weeks.

I had a good sewing room day yesterday... I finished last week's custom order... I just need to do a zipper pull for it sometime this weekend. I really like how it turned out.

I also need to start working on some other things up there too... :whistle:

I hope you all have a nice weekend... Don't be surprised if I knock out an update or two over the weekend too.

Day 7 Part 3

As we were exiting Splash for the last time, something caught my eye... Lookie... Disney made this just for MEEEEE!

It couldn't have been more perfect... My favorite ride and my favorite character - on one shirt! I purchased it then and there!

We decided to ride BTMRR while the wait was still low... 10 minutes... In all of my years going to WDW, I've never seen the que for BTMRR - it's always either closed to refurb or we ride it so early in the morning, that there is no wait. So, this was kind of new to me.

After BTMRR... Alli and I decided we wanted to take one more ghostly tour on HM... BFF wanted to smoke and V & O didn't particularily care for it, so they sat it out. While we were doing that... BFF also had a chance to meet the Chipmunks.

It was time for our coveted Anna and Elsa FPs... This was pretty cool - but being that we really aren't Frozen fans, it was probably not as great as it would have been for others. We enjoyed it though, and V was happy to get their autographs on her pillowcase.

From there, V was dying to meet Gaston again... On our way, we stopped for a few Photopass pictures...

We made it to Gaston just in time for the line cut-off, so we parked our behinds on a curb and played on our devices for a while. Since we were first when he came out again. After we had been sitting there for a while, a family came up and parked their stroller right under his umbrella... Once he came out - they tried to cut in front of us (realistically, they should have been about 10 families behind us - from how many were lined up when they got there)... So, I rudely stood up and told them that the END of the line was back there, and that's where they needed to be. I didn't see what happened, but I am pretty sure the jumped the line right behind us.

Anyways, while we were waiting - the girls and I shared a LaFrou's Brew... It was pretty good in the hot sun - but I am glad we just shared one and didn't get one for each of us. It was a sticky yucky mess.

Gaston was VERY unimpressed by my muscles... Which was very disheartening to me, because I had been working so hard. Bully. Although the girls were very happy to meet him.

At this point - V was starting to get cranky... There were a few dynamics going on between the 3 girls... Allison and Olivia were starting to pal up and leave Victoria in the dust... In my effort to make her feel better - against my better judgement - I decided to take a spin on the tea cups. Probably not the wisest decision for someone who is very prone to motion sickness.

So... Did I make it through our last day? Stay tuned to see...

Day 7 Part 4

After my bad decision to ride the tea cups - I wasn't feeling so hot. But it was our last day - so I was going to push through, no matter what.

So, we headed towards The Little Mirmaid ride... It was nice, cool and dark - and I could sit through it.

Quite possibly the most beautiful selfie of me ever...

At this point, I was really starting to feel sick... I thought that maybe a snack might settle me... So we headed to Tomorrowland to have one of our all-time-favorites... Sweet Cream Cheese Pretzels and Frozen Cokes... Yah - I am sure you all see where this is going, don't you?

It was so delicous... Yes, yes it was...

It was time for a break... A classic... One that BFF and O had never seen or done - and a must-do for us... CoP...

It's a great big beautiful tomorrow...

Did BFF enjoy it? The world may never know... Bahahaha...

And I was still feeling sick... It was getting really hot out, and I was not doing well. We still had FPs for Space Mtn... The girls did several rides on this - most of them as single riders (so I am not posting all of those photopass pics)...

Meanwhile, I found a bench, and literally - FELL ASLEEP in the middle of Tomorrowland - laying down on a cold hard metal bench. I was OUT COLD! Now, the next time you are in TL - think of how loud it is there... Yup... And D~ slept... I had to have been for a good hour, at least. When I woke, there was a woman sitting on the end of the bench by my feet - who was LOLing at me... I guess she had been there for quite some time watching over me.

There is no photo of this... I thought I took one of the bench after I was walking away, so I could post it here - but I guess not?

The good thing about this nap... I woke up feeling MUCH better, and I was ready to finish off our last day with a bang.

Why not start with BLSRS? And probably the BEST photo of Alli and I EVER!

Gotta love us, right?

Allison topped out her score... I, however, did not... And I thought I was doing great? Hmmm... Not so much.

And then the obligitory Zurg photo...

We grabbed our 4th FP on our way out of Tomorrowland for JC... On our way to Adventureland, we stopped off for a few photopass pictures...

Hehehe... The very clever photopass photographer positioned "the girl who refused to wear ears" for the perfect ear photo of all time... I still don't think she knows about this one... She just thought she was special... LOL

Passing by Aloha Isle it was Dole Whips all around... None for me though - I was still afraid to eat anything...

We rode JC - the girls thought it was incredibly corny... Which is the appeal, right?

We still had lots to accomplish today... and we were starting to recover our tracks... Did we make it out of MK alive? Or did we circle forever?

The LaFrou's Brew looks like a sticky yucky mess. It's not good that Allison and Olivia were starting to pal up and leave Victoria in the dust. I hope they got a clear message that they needed to include Victoria. Carousel of Progress is one of my favorite rides. It sounds like you needed a nap. I'm glad you felt better after the nap. The mickey ear of Alli looks great.

Looks like another fun day so far...except for the feeling sick and falling asleep part...glad the nap helped though!! That's the worst when you are at a park and not feeling good but want to enjoy it and still do everything! I know the JC is corny...but I so love it!

Day 7 Part 5

This day was really starting to get long... I have no idea what time it is (I didn't notate any times in my journal on this day)...

We stopped to take in a show... The Country Bears... It was air conditioned - which is a blessing at this time of year.

We finished off TCB and V was super cranky... It was hot - she was tired... So I agreed to let her go off on her own. She headed to TSI. My only condition was that she must be back in time for our dinner ADR. So, she left. Sometimes it's just easier to let her go off on her own to cool off - especially since she is at an age where it is OK for her to do so.

BFF went off to smoke...

Allison, Olivia and I hung out on a rock wall in Liberty Square and people watched. At this point in the day, it wasn't too crowded, and there wasn't much else that appealed to us. Our view...

When BFF finished with her break, we decided to go grab another FP for something that was on our way to our ADR... Winnie The Pooh it is...

Once we finished this ride, we called V to tell her it was time to meet up... As soon as she got there, we checked in for our BoG reservation.

We did wait for our buzzer to go off for quite some time...

To our delight, we were once again seated in the West Wing...

BFF, Victoria, Olivia & I all ordered the steak...

A few of our desserts...

Allison ordered the shirmp & scallops - she did not like it. in her defense - she has never liked seafood much anyways - so for her to order seafood while she was eating as a vegetarian just didn't make any sense to me.

The girls celebrated their birthdays here too...

Once our meal was over, it was time to greet our host... BFF skipped out to smoke, so it was just the girls and I...

This is where it gets a bit messy... When we came out of BoG, the entire front of the castle had been roped off for Wishes... And we were trying to get out of the park before the Wishes madness began... So, we had to reroute and exit through Liberty Square. As usual - we agreed that if we separated, we'd meet at the bus stop... All of us formed a chain - hanging on to our bag straps - the girls in front, and BFF taking up the rear... At some point, in front of the castle - we lost BFF... The girls and I managed to stay together - although at one point, I was nearly mauled from behind by a scooter. Once we got through the exit of the park - I waited for BFF at the beginning of the bus stops. I waited for quite some time for her - the girls were already up in the que... Our bus pulled up and the girls were on it, just as BFF was approaching me... She was crying and couldn't walk anymore. Her legs were cramping and she was in a lot of pain. I encouraged her to push through, just a few more steps and our trip was over. She hobbled to the bus - I don't know how the girls convinced the driver to wait, but they did. BFF and I got on and she cried the whole way to the resort. I felt horrible for her.

Once we got back to the resort, we all packed up the remainder of our stuff, so we could check out early tomorrow morning... We still had a half day to do, but we weren't going in to any parks.

Wow 3 updates in one day! You guys really had a busy last day. I love the picture of Allison with the ears. The steaks look really good.
I worked today. It was a typical Saturday at Walmart. My daughter and her husband drove to Niagara Fall today to see the American side frozen over. It's too cold for me outside I'd rather just look at the pictures she took.

Chiming in D! Glad to see updates - but really sad to hear about Allison back to feeling so crummy - she needs to slow down and rest which I know is hard for her. Does she take vitamins?

The pics are great - sounds like your last full day was good but too much heat - and tea cups! Glad your nap did you well - sometimes our bodies cramp up like BFF when we are not drinking enough water in heat - I should know living in Texas! We have to constantly have water with us during our 100 plus degree Summers.

Sorry to hear about your tires too - sometimes there is a money flow and then a money gush. Yuck. With Shane's college semester lost, we did not get any money back. That hurt. Its so hard to get caught back up.

It was - it was tasty, but it was messy. We all had to go to the bathrooms to wash our hands after.

Yes - this happens a lot between the three of them, thankfully they were pretty good for most of the trip - this was the last day though and they were all starting to be tired/hot/short tempered. They did get a clear message - but sometimes it takes a while for things to settle.

LOL Yes, I am glad the nap helped. It was the worst - knowing we still had half our day left and I was miserable. Just glad the nap helped and I was able to push on.

I liked it, but I can't say it was the best steak I've ever had... Maybe the best steak I've ever had in Disney? LOL We order all of our meat at home here from a local butcher - and Josh dabbles in smoking meat as a hobby (in the spring/summer/fall) - so we do end up eating some of the best tasting meat I've ever had here at home.

Yah - I know she needs to slow down. It's very difficult for her right now, especially when she thought she was done with this. Poor kid. Nope, no vitamins in our house... I don't exactly agree with them - depending on the reasoning and such... So many vitamins are pumped full of sugar and additives... Our bodies absorb vitamins and minerals way better if we can get them from our food - so I try very hard to make sure we eat very well rounded meals. I hope that makes sense?

Yah - no more tea cups for D~... LOL I am not sure if I was ill from the lack of water or the spinning. I really think it was the spinning because I was constantly drinking water our entire trip. I just think I needed some rest in the shade for a while after all that spinning? Whatever it was I needed, I got it - and I am thankful for that.

OOooh - you were talking about BFF and water... Yes, that is possible... She was definitely drinking water... but like me on our March 2012 trip - she was drinking soda at meals and at other times during the day - so it's possible she wasn't getting enough water. But that - on top of not much excercise before our trip was a not good combo - IMO.

LOL - No kidding! It's been a $$ suck here recently... It's crazy! Hopefully that was the last of it for a while?

I had a pretty good day yesterday...

I ended up in my sewing room for about an hour, and in that hour I knocked out quite a bit. I am almost done with that bag for my friend - I think if I can get up there for another hour today, I should be able to finish it up. Which then puts me in "Auction Mode"... And you all know what that means... D~ will be working her behind off for the next several weeks/months... As much as I love doing the big auctions - it's so much work for me, and I get such bad burn-out from them...

I took Alli to work yesterday, she had a full shift last night. She is still swollen, but if she can get through today and Tuesday - she has all next weekend off...

Food stuff ramblings...

Josh and I went out for dinner last night... We went to a local Mexican restaurant... I had beef fajitas - they were super yummy. And other than the oils they are probably cooked in, fajitas are compliant for me - I just eat them with out the tortillas. However, I did have several chips with salsa too... Which wasn't complaint. And then the night before - we went out for Fish Fry at our local bar/restaurant... It's been several months since we've gone - and it's probably the first time in years that I've ordered the actual fish fry... So, that wasn't the best meal for me either... However - I still consider it part of my 10%... Again - it was compliant, except for the breading and the oil it was fried in - and to be honest, this fish is a lot more fish than breading... and I had a baked potato on the side. Realistically - I could have done so much worse. Today - I will concentrate on being super compliant to make up for it.

I really need to buckle down and make a little more progress on my size loss... I have several pairs of J Crew shorts in my closet for this summer - and while they fit me right now, I'd really prefer if they were a little looser... And summer is approaching fast! I am hoping to bust out my capris in the next few weeks - and shorts will be right behind those. Cannot wait for spring people!!!! And we didn't even get the snow this year that others around the nation received... I just cannot stand the look of winter anymore!

I might do an update or two again today... As I mentioned above - I do believe I have a legitimate PTR to get started, so I'd like to wrap up this TR in the coming weeks. With only our departure day to update yet, I think I can get it done.
