...What do you guys think about the new Scott? I think he is horrible. I guess if they are trying to change his character they have sure done it. He was such a nice sweet guy. He learned so much from Stuart. Although I was happy to see him not take Greenlee up the the offer, he seems to have something up his sleeve. Yes I know, the old Scott was a bit boring, but not liking this new one.

...The old Scott really looked alot like Stuart/aka Adam. The new Scott doesn't look anything like a Chandler, except he is wearing his hair a little like JR.

The new Scott is really the old Scott. He was Scott Chandler #3 starting in 1996.

I'm so glad you said that. I've been looking at him & I told my DD's he looked so familiar but I couldn't place where I had seen him before. Now I know!

anyway, didnt' Greenlee come to town originally as a college girlfriend of Scott's? and trying to break up him and his girlfriend? who WAS that, anyway?

from the moment the plane exploded, DH and i have been theorizing (he's been working 2nd shift the last few weeks, so he has no choice but to watch with me, lol) that zach faked his death. i know thorsten kaye wanted out of the role, b/c he didn't want to move to L.A., so i can't wait to see who TPTB at AMC cast in the part.

I have watched OLTL as long as AMC( over 35 yrs) yet why can't I remember Zach( Thorston?) ever playing a character on OLTL? Was he Cole's father, Patrick is the show name I think? I just can't place him on that show?

Yup, he was Patrick Thornhart, Cole's dad apparently. I don't remember much else about that storyline though.

Patrick was involved with Blair as well as with Marty. I seem to recall something about Blair misscarrying a baby after being involved in a car accident in which Kelly hit her car. (she didn't realized it was Blair that she hit at the time) Was a loooong time ago, but I think that baby might have been Patrick Thornharts.

Oh, welll, back to AMC. I really think this back and forth between Melissa and JR is ridiculous. The writers drag the viewers through this entire scenario between JR and Annie, leaving "old" Melissa. and now that there is a new actor playing the role..he's suddenly drawn back to her.
Honestly, I kind of liked JR with Annie. They were two of a kind. Now they're just gonna have Annie go the nut hut route again...like we haven't seen enough of her in there over the last few years. Same old..same old.

i can't understand why today was a rerun-they usually only do reruns on holidays, and today isn't a holiday...at least, not that i'm aware of.
