Took Blaze in this morning for his second opinion visit and that vet started to say almost the same thing until he felt what acted like stool in the colon area on Blaze. Well, first vet has said that, too, so I mentioned that and this vet did a complete turnaround on his thoughts, rushed Blaze in for x-rays, and found some kind of unidentified "angry" mass on/near his colon. They got a couple of cell samples from it and that showed that it's not cancer and there was something else he said it was not, but they couldn't identify what it was other than that the body is very angry at that. His feel is we identify the mass, we find the problem. So he has sent us to a specialist to do the ultrasound on the mass and said he can't say for certain, but Blaze may end up having to go in for surgery to remove whatever that unidentified mass is. We have the appointment for the ultrasound this afternoon at 2:30 central, and I would very, very much appreciate prayers that they can identify the mass and, if necessary, safely remove it or if not necessary, successfully treat it. I'll be away from my computer until this evening, but I will update everyone as soon as I get home.
