Any advantage to reserving snorkel gear?

Snorkel Lagoon Equipment Rental on Castaway Cay is listed as a Port Adventure for $25 a person. Is there any particular advantage to reserving this ahead of time? Do they run out of gear on CC? Is the rental price higher once you're there? Why bother reserving?

Perhaps only shorter lines for checking out the gear? We bring our own but I noticed that there were many more windows for those with reservations vs. those without.

There is no advantage to pre booking, it is also the same price either way, they have plenty so no way they will run out.
