Hello,
I was just curious if anyone else who posts here follows a vegetarian diet of some variety? My diet would probably be called lacto-vegetarian if I had to name it. I eat dairy but no eggs, meat, fish or poultry. I think it's funny when people have the misconception that you couldn't be overweight if you're a vegetarian. Well, besides enjoying cheese(not low fat) there's also pasta, breads, cereals, grains...that can all put on pounds if you eat too much of it. Anyway, I've been a vegetarian since 1971 and consider myself a very healthy 51 year old, other then needing to drop about 10 lbs. Would love to hear from any kindred spirits.
Good day.
