Arby's; yay or nay?

We don’t eat there as often as we used to but do occasionally. DH gets their specialty sandwiches, different each time. I stick with a regular Arby roast beef and curly fries. Love their Arby and horsey sauce too.

Arby's is a top on the road choice. They have some good sandwiches. Greek Gyro, Reuben, smokehouse brisket all nice. The plain roast beef is actually good too.
Sides leave a bit to be desired and drinks lack selection. I don't really care for their cheese sauce that much. And sometimes they'll put out a real lemon like the Arbynator. But it's mostly good.

I enjoy Arby's for the most part. I like the Beef & Cheddar but I tend to stay away from beef a lot these days. They have good chicken sandwiches and I like when they have the market fresh chicken salad. I love the potato cakes too, but the fries are also decent. I like the sauces too, especially the three pepper one. Overall it is usually a pleasant experience.

We have a joke when we go to Taco Bell to ring the bell for good service and "a taco get's it's wing." So at Arby's they also have a bell, and every time I ring it "an Arby's gets it's wings." I know, we're stupid.

Yes once in awhile. Most of the locations near me closed. So we usually stop when we see one when on a road trip. Beef and Cheddar or French Dip for me.

I love Arby's gyros and their french dip (though the french dips at Be Our Guest and Earl of Sandwich are much better!).

There aren't very many around me or I'd go more often. I love their curly fries. I usually go for a chicken sandwich or a French dip.

Big NAY. Food doesn't get any lower than this. I am not sure I can even call it food. It hasn't completely died in my area, but just about. We also have very , very few KFC or Burger King. Thank goodness. We do have Taco Bell (another abomination), but only in neighborhoods without Latinos, because the taquerias drove them out of business.

I work in downtown chicago in a huge public office building in our food court downstairs, we have an Arby's. That is the only Arby's I'll eat at because its so fresh. My order is simple, classic roast beef, and small potatoe cakes, I mix the arby's sauce with the horsey sauce and spread on the top and bottom bun.

There's one 3 blocks from my house but I only eat there every 2-3 months when I get a craving for their loaded curly fries.

I love them, beef & cheddar delux with curly fries dipped in Arby's sauce. DH likes the sliders, the market fresh sandwiches or sometimes whatever the special is (the one they had on Hawaiian rolls was really good). We have one pretty close to us.

Former Seattle-ite here. This was predicted with the minimum wage hikes. Locals wanted it, but they don't want to pay more for their fast food. One of the 2 things has to give.

Our kids LOVE Arby's. I'd rate it as "good," and above the burger joints. I currently work in the Arby's corporate building in Atlanta. When they moved in, I had high hopes of a taste kitchen or at least quick access to curly fries. Alas... it didn't happen.

If you're anywhere near State and Franklin you must be familiar with U. B.Dogs? The best Chicago dogs and fantastic burgers.

State and Franklin run the same way. :) Lake and Franklin is where UB Dogs is. I'm at LaSalle and Lake, never been there....I'll give it a try,

I like the Super Roast Beef, which appears to be "off menu" now, but they still make it. It's basically a regular roast beef with lettuce and tomato and Arby's sauce added.

However, I don't care for their sides (especially the curly fries), so I usually just get the sandwich and a drink.

Right, I meant Lake. It's a cool, tiny place, totally for locals. Only open until 3, only on weekdays. Joey is the owner and cashier. Tell him Molly and Paul say Hi!

I don’t think I’ve been to one in 10 years. Very few in our city. Not sure where the closest one is.
I would go again.

Many years ago there was one I used to drive by. I stopped once or twice and it was just ok. I didn't miss it when it closed down. The only other time I can recall going was a couple of years ago in upstate NY. (Because we have none near us.) We took a chance that maybe it had improved. It was a big cluster at the window, and none of us thought our sandwiches were good. But where I grew up we had a lot of local roast beef sandwich places that set the bar pretty high. So a nay for me.

I like it, but I don't go there very often. I absolutely love the Arbys sauce. I usually just order a roast beef and potato cakes instead of curly fries. The taste of the curly fries is fine, but I will hurt a lot later so I just don't.
Mmmm, I used to LOVE the potato cakes. They've been gone from the Canadian menu for years now. :(

We love Arby’s. I usually get the Ruban Sandwich and the jalapeño bites, my DD loves their curly fries.
