If so, where are they currently giving them out from? All Star Movies resort? The Parks at Guest Services??

Thank you!!! :surfweb:

No to anniversary or just married. But yes to first visit. Should be able to get at front desk or a gift shop

Hate to correct you, but they had every button--anniversary, just married, birthday, graduation, celebrating. . .etc., at BWV and we were told that all guest services and resorts have the same. It was my husband's birthday and the front desk CM mentioned it as he was writing the name.

I also saw them throughout the parks while we were there last week and part of the week prior.

This sounds more accurate. I was surprised that they would only be offering birthday buttons but haven't been lately so couldn't really support that. Thanks for clarifying.

Yes they do have all the pins, but just fyi I believe just married and anniversary are the same pin that says “happily ever after.”

They also have “I’m celebrating” pins where you can fill in the blanks for other occasions.

Yep--you can get them at the desk of your resort, some of the gift shops (if they have them in stock) and at Guest relations. They will even replace the ones you lose on a ride or leave in your hotel room. We came home with a number of 30th anniversary Happily Ever After pins because I am an idiot and kept leaving mine in the room.

They were transitioning to this in 2019- we got one of the anniversary pins and the CM at the desk explained the change/showed us the "happily ever after" ones.

Also will add to keep expectations in check- the most common thing we've experienced is CMs wishing us a happy anniversary. Occasionally something magical like a cupcake at dinner, but we typically go in the summer around our anniversary (so always have buttons) but rarely get (or expect) more.

Really? Because I have NEVER seen graduation at the park in the last five years or so since they went all generic! The only place I was still able to get the actual graduation one was at Disneyland!

I believe you may be correct--although I thought I saw both anniversary and happily ever after for the newlyweds, but I could be wrong. In any event, the CMs and others were still calling out happy birthday, happy anniversary and congratulations, etc.

This is it. I used to belong to a Disney Button group. I'll see if I can find the image that shows what Disney converted things too.

Happy Anniversary used to have Mickey & Minnie Mouse. Now it's "Happily Ever After"
Just Engaged used to have Mickey/Minnie ears. Now it's "Happily Ever After."
Just Married used to have Cinderella/Prince Charming. Now it's "Happily Ever After."

Here's what I found (from 2016):

576507

They got rid of the "Just Engaged" in 2013-ish. I remember we found the last ones at GCH before we were heading for a engagement dinner (well, that's when the question got popped and the girl didn't know that was going to happen!)

We saw plenty of Birthday, Anniversary and first visit pins on people. The GF was handing them out at the desk. At the Hollywood Brown Derby, the CM who escorted people to tables, who was exceptional, went and got a birthday pin for someone at the table next to us when he found out it was their bday and he wrote their name on it right at the table and gave it to them.

We saw all the different buttons in April.

Our daughter had many CMs tell her congrats. Made her day.

I had a birthday button on my last trip for the first time and it got a little exhausting being told happy birthday all the time. 😄 I did get a couple free desserts, though one time I didn't even have the button on. The waitress at The Wave Lounge carded me then brought me a cupcake (and this was three days after my actual birthday).

We get them when we go. We don't expect any special treatment. It's just fun, and you do get frequent enough well wishes. On our last trip, my DW had her birthday pin, and the Toy Story Green Army Men drummers did a solo for her during the Pixar Cavalcade. That was way more than we expected. Just hearing them say "Happy Birthday" or whatever is special enough.

Here's a tip though that I only just discovered yesterday. Any place that does custom lettering on souvenirs (like Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in MK) they'll personalize it for you for a small charge. So, instead of letting them go at it with a Sharpie at whatever place you get it, they'll make it fancier for you, and pretty cheaply.

Oh we were wanting the graduation one 🙄

Yeah, I know. Me too for my second graduate right now! But I live here and go weekly and have not seen or known of anyone getting one here. Thankfully got one for my first at Disneyland, but unfortunately, did not know I wouldn't be able to go back at all for my other daughter's senior year!
