Statement from Josh Duggar:

I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.

I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him.

I brought hurt and a reproach to my family, close friends and the fans of our show with my actions that happened when I was 14-15 years old, and now I have re-broken their trust.

The last few years, while publicly stating I was fighting against immorality in our country, in my heart I had allowed Satan to build a fortress that no one knew about.

As I am learning the hard way, we have the freedom to choose to our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences. I deeply regret all hurt I have caused so many by being such a bad example.

I humbly ask for your forgiveness. Please pray for my precious wife Anna and our family during this time.

Anna did decide to marry this loud mouth, far right winged, religious zealot who apparently confessed his crimes with his sisters to her before they were married. I wonder if she's turned the other cheek many times since she's married him. It wouldn't surprise me at all if she stays with him. I'd be more surprised if she left.

The kids are the biggest losers in this.

I often wondered why Anna and Josh got a lot of air time when they moved to DC. But it was always Anna and the kids that got shown. Josh was "always working". So sad, l wonder if they got Jill and Derick's house, since they are now Missionaries, but where ever they are, I hope Anna sent him outside to the dog house.

I often wondered why Anna and Josh got a lot of air time when they moved to DC. But it was always Anna and the kids that got shown. Josh was "always working". She'll have no choice but to put up with whatever BS he sends her way unless she wants to be portrayed as an unforgiving and unsuportive wife that just gave up and got divorced. Molesting his sisters? Be a good wife, listen to your husband, be supportive and put on a smile and carry on. He cheats on you and you are privately and publically humiliated by this? Also finding an address on the list does not make someone a cheater especially if someone used someone else's email to register.

Finding an address linked to a credit card is more than just being able to fake an address. Addresses for credit cards are usually verified since in most cases, credit card charges will not go through if the address is not correct.

So, since the credit card linked to Duggar is his home address, it is pretty obvious it is Duggar's credit card. So, either his credit card was hacked or he was charging for services.

My hubby used to watch their show and I used to say that the girls are all treated like second class citizens. Raised to a certain age and then "given" to their husbands by their father.

The hack and release of client data has now resulted in at least one quite tasteless hoax. A website of "United Media Publishing" (link below) is running a story saying an Ashley Madison client named Donald Bradshaw in Chicago who is married with two children intentionally overdosed on drugs yesterday and left a note stating he killed himself due to his being identified as an Ashley Madison customer. The story hasn't gone viral yet, but is already being labeled a hoax in the other few places online where it has popped up.

I don't think the fallout will be that bad - a lot of people bury their head in the sand - they don't want to know!

Given the fact the list of released ids is in the range of 32 million, even if half are phony one is looking at a huge universe of very worried cheaters.

Surprisingly, actual specific reports on people who have been outed are still sparse. Give it a few days and I suspect that will change.

For those interested, below is a global heat map showing the locations of those whose identities were released. Interestingly, the southern northeast/northern mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. seems to be the American hotbed of infidelity.

Actually, it's about a company that had the private information of its clients stolen. It's you, and others, that have jumped on your soapboxes and made it about something that has little to nothing to do with the crime at hand.

I actually hope that someone is keeping an eye on Josh Duggar, as I think he might well be at risk for suicide. He has lost his job, caused the rest of his family to lose their job, and now had this new issue come out so he may well lose his wife and children. Even if Anna stays, I can't imagine things are going to be real happy at home.
