We are back:( Spent the weekend catching up on yard work and laundry. But it does make coming back easier knowing that we are going again!!

We booked our Wonder trip which included 4 nights at WDW through Dreams Unlimited and they are the greatest!

Thanks to all the feedback from the DISers that I got before going about booking onboard. I didn't want to come back and then in a couple months decide to plan it and wish I had taken advantage of the $200 onboard credit. We booked a 7 day Western on the Magic!

I hope to post a cruise trip report within the next week.:p

We were also on the April 6th cruise. I have to say we were a bit disappointed. I guess I did too much research and was expecting too much.

My kids are 15 and 17. They didn't find too many things to do onboard. I think this cruise is geared towards children younger than 13.

Two things that exceeded my expectations were Palo and the size of our stateroom. We booked a cat 11 on the land and sea package. I was very worried about feeling claustrophobic. It wasn't a problem.

I was wondering how the cruise is for older kids. With my DS being 3 (almost 4), it seemed like a really good age and I would imagine for the next few years he might still really enjoy the characters and DCL. Just seeing his face light up when he saw, hugged, or high five'd one of the characters was worth it for us. That's partly why we decided to plan another for next year, he will be going on 5 and I think that will still be a good age. I wonder at what age is it not as exciting for them anymore and something with more older kids activities like a 'Voyager of the Seas' type ship might be a better fit.

We were on the Feb. 27 Wonder & my 15 yr. old son loved it! He didn't want to go into Common Grounds but met some kids @ the pool & they all went to the movies & hung out. There's basketball & ping pong on the top deck. He was also with his 11 yr. old cousin & they never got bored. They loved the snorkeling @ CC. I felt comfortable with the boys going off on their own knowing there aren't casinos, gambling & a lot of smokey areas. My 8 yr. old niece love the kids programs. I guess it all depends on what your're expecting. We'll be going on a 4 Day in Feb. 2004.
