Bell services tipping

I just saw a U.S. tipping guidelines chart online. It says bell services $1-5 PER BAG. So we drive and bring a lot. We fill a cart. Like maybe 6-7 bags, 4 backpacks, pillows, cases of water, food, etc. My husband always helps and does half the work unloading on to the cart and then we help unload once they bring to the room. Curious how much everyone would tip in this instance. I don’t want to be cheap. I had no idea this much was expected.

Full cart, I’d tip $20. I’d let bell services organize the cart. They know how to do it so it’s all balanced and easiest to unload.

Depending on how heavy the full cart is :

10 or 20 dollars.

If you are moving in for two weeks at Christmas, 30…

Two people doing all the work 10 bucks each…

If they are acting like I’m wasting there time or they have better things to do cut it all in half…

A mentor of mine 30 plus years ago explain
Tips or tip is an acronym,

To Insure Preferential Service.

Yea, Insure not ensure
Nobody wants their baggage broken….

When I travel to Europe it freaks me out not to tip.

I’d tip $20 too, for that many items. We do $2 for a full size suitcase, $1-2 for carryons depending on how heavy, and $5 for our heavy Owners Locker (a big plastic storage tub). We don’t bring cases of water but would tip $2 for that, too.
