Best option for mid trip rental?

We are staying on site for 1 week and would love to have a car mid week just for 2 days. Do you need to uber to mco for this? is that the best option. is there one closer by that would pick us up or shuttle us back after we drop it back off? Thinking this sounds like a hassle and we may be better off just grabbing the rental for the full week. Wanted to check here first as you are all so helpful. thanks in advance.

In addition to the care car center (which I believe has Alamo and Enterprise), Budget and Avis also have car rental desks at hotels across from Disney Springs
