BOG Breakfast-How Many Trips Through The Mine?

If we have an 0835 breakfast reservation at BOG, and park open (for now) is 0900, what time can we get into the park? Do I have it correct--if there is room in the dining area, we can eat early? I plan on pre-ordering as well. TIA!!!

At the holding point, how crazy is it? Does everyone queue up orderly and walk over calmly with a CM. Or is it a mass of people trying to converge to get in line?

Thanks!

Not crazy at all. We did it twice in early July. The first time, there were a few people gathered, much like the photo posted, and we waited a minute or two there. The 2nd time, there was no line, the ride was already running and we walked straight over. We got 3 rides in that time. The trains were running mostly empty. In fact, we were the only family on one of our rides (wooo!). So no, no horde and no stampede, and no disadvantage to rope droppers. Plus not everyone at BOG breakfast realizes or cares that they can get an early ride in. Many wander off to stroll around.

We have an 8 15 breakfast nov 21. I will be happy
with one ride..two would be awesome... we should be at MK at 7:30 correct ?
Thanks

Sent to the back of the rope droppers and didn't want to wait 30 minutes so 0 rides.... Breakfast at BOG doesn't not guarantee you'll be let into 7DMT before the rope droppers run over. There is a couple threads about this lately, not every CM at the train will let you in before the droppers.

If you're there that early, you're going to be waiting outside for no real reason. We walked up at 7:50ish, checked in with the CMs waiting outside the gates and got in line, and that's when they opened the park to breakfast guests. A 7:30 arrival would put you at the front of that pre-opening breakfast line, but even if you're at the end of that line, you're going to be waiting 5 minutes max to get into the park once they start allowing guests in.

What day was this and when did you leave BOG?

I think we've sufficiently established that nothing is guaranteed.

Suebedo posted this happened to her on July 26. Did your experience happen the same day or is this another day?

We were there 7:15ish and were among the first dozen or so in line. We wanted to be sure to get into BOG without being held up at the ordering/paying stations.

Mine was a long time ago, it was the first couple days bog tried a breakfast. I wouldn't count it in the current policies as I'm sure it's changed but back then, it was wait for rope drop

What time were you done with breakfast and outside waiting? How do they physically stop people from joining the RD crowd? That's the part that very unclear to me. I'd just walk right over!

IIRC,it was about the same,BUT the number of BOG Guests waiting for SDMT/A&E can vary from day to day.:)

Really appreciate the info, thanks! We're going in mid december with free dining, so I'm sure the number of people will be way more! xD

That poster indicated that his experience was one of the first days that BOG was open for breakfast. Then, they actually had ropes up to keep guests back, but that hasn't been the case in months. They stopped using the ropes after the first week, I believe.

We had breakfast at BOG on two mornings of our trip 8:00 on 8/7 and 8:05 on 8/12. Both days we were let into the park about 7:45 and I have to say it really is magical walking through an empty Fantasyland. The cast members clap and welcome you in to BOG, it was a great way to start the day. We rode twice on 8/7 (first ride about 8:40) before heading to Peter pan and we were held by Philharmagic for a few minutes before we could head over to PP. The new cue at Pp is awesome! On 8/12 we rode one and a half times. Our first ride was about 8:40 and we were on the first train of the day. The second time we got stuck in the mine and had to be let off. They gave us a paper fast pass that could be used for any ride that day at MK. We didn't get off until about 9:10 and Peter pan was already 50 minutes. Im guessing since the mine train was down everyone headed there, I believe it was down until about 10:00 am that day.

Great thread! Question: I have a BOG December reservation at 8:25. Could we finish up with that early and make maybe a shorter line for Peter Pan? I am not looking to do multiple rides but cutting one long queue short would be a treat.

We had an 8:05am ADR on Tuesday 8/18. We did pre-order - were done eating before 8:30am - 2nd family in line for SDMT - a CM escorted us in thru the FP+ line at 8:45 am - we rode twice - done at 8:55am and on our way to Peter Pan. It was great!
