Cabin/category upgrades

I have not sailed on DCL before, and I was wondering the 411 on cabin upgrades...Do you automatically get them if you booked early? Do they notify you before hand? Any help would be appreciated!

Hi sandiegosusie! With DCL upgrades are few and far between. Because the ships often sail full or near full the opportunities for upgrades are less than on other cruise lines. It seems to happen most often in the fall (off-season) and on the Wonder (3- and 4-night cruises) than the Magic (7-night cruises).

DCL does notify you of an upgrade if you are lucky enough to get one.
