Can we bring a baby-carrying backpack in the parks? It's not one of the small ones, it's huge, has a seat type thing, a 5-pt harness and a rain hood type thing, holds a child up to 40 lb. It's the one my DH uses to take the boys hiking with him, and he wants to bring it for the evening fireworks to use for our then 15-mth old. I know you can't use a wagon because it's pulled behind you, but I didn't know about a backpack.

Thanks!

Yes, you can. You'll need to have it checked through security, and you'll obviously need to leave it somewhere when you go on some of the rides, but you can bring it in. Just be aware of how much space you're taking up, so that if you back up somewhere, you're not pinning someone against a wall!
