Candelight Processional / Illuminations

Question for all of you CP vets.

I understand there is normally an 8:15 presentation of the CP nightly during the holiday season. With the show letting out just before 9pm, is Illuminations still performed at its normal 9pm time?

Seems like there would still be people making their way out of the theater as the fireworks begin. We aren't the type to normally line-up much ahead of time for Illuminations, but we still would like to be able to catch the entire show.

EDIT: Just found some historical hours showing the World Showcase open until 9:30 in December. Does that mean that Illuminations is normally pushed-back to 9:30?

And, as long as I'm thinking of it, when do they normally start taking PS for the CP dinner packages? I'm assuming it's further than 90 days out, yes?

I believe you can make ressies as soon as they anounce the dates , readers, and times for the year. Which you can find when they come out here or at www.allearsnet.com . I'm pretty sure Illuminations is performed at the same time. Maybe you should try going to the middle show instead and then have time to see Illumintions or plan to see it another night.

I am not sure when they started taking the CP dinner reservations, but we did the last show last year..it was done at approx 9 and we sat around and waited for Illuminations which started at 9:30...

Illuminations is at 9:30 during CP season. I've found that when the park is not crowded, you can find last minute spots back by Japan or Morocco. They aren't as good as up front by FW but are better than waiting for a long time (especially on cold nights).
