Hello. We don't have the dinner package booked so just for turning up does anyone know if there is a wheelchair area that I can go? Can my able body wife sit there also? Suggestions for how long to line up before hand?

Thank you.

Wheelchair and companion seats are in the 7th or 8th row (can't remember which but it is just behind the last full row at overhang level). There are also some in the very back of the theater. For Eat to the Beat they also seated wheelchair guests and their companions at the ends of some of the rows nearest the stage (in the middle area) but the setup for Candlelight might be different.

How early you will need to turn up for standby is pretty much dependent on who the narrator is, but even with one of the less popular ones, you may need to be in line at least an hour. For the popular ones, there are often lines of up to 3 hours for the first show.

They did give out wristbands for standby for at least a few shows - maybe they will do that again, but I don't recall what time you had to be there to get a wristband.

Thank you that is very useful! Very kind of you to reply.

.
1) End-of-the-row wheelchair/ECV seating is becoming very limited.
2) There is a major problem is there is an emergency.
3) Such devices could hamper other guests from quickly leaving the row and the theater.
. . . similar to having s small child or disabled person in the aisle seat of an airplane
. . . the center seat and window seat might have to climb over them in an emergency.
4) In fact, several rows now have signs stating no wheelchairs or ECV's at the end of the row.

It's already been established in the other thread that there is no prohibition to having a disabled person in the aisle seat of a plane. As for the seating at shows, I can't speak to that.

Interesting about end of aisle seats. See what they do when we arrive! Others have said you can hear it from outside if all fails! Thank you for replies.

They didn't put wheelchairs at the end of every row. And the guests just didn't wander in, a CM would bring them to the seats. Usually just one wheelchair guest, and one companion for those end of the row seats. But that was ETTB, and they may or may not do the same for Candlelight.
