Car rental for 6 plus scooter

When we visit wdw we hire a car or 2 depending on our party size however next year there will be 6 of us and we plan to visit the keys before heading to Orlando, so we need to hire a car big enough for 6 adults, 6 cases and my mums scooter which she will be bringing with her. We really don't want to go down the route of hiring 2 cars as that will split the family up, plus it would mean 2 sets of gas and tolls so I'm not sure we would save anything.

So my question is, what size hire car do you think we would need? Or has anyone been in this situation before? Or just in your daily life what cars do you think we would be best trying to go for? We are in the uk and the cars a very different here.

Van. Not mini. I think they are billed as 10 passenger. The scooter easily counts as a passenger or two in space plus all the luggage. Start looking now for deals. I find best deals using mousesavers website car rental tricks or Costco. (A us warehouse club). If you need a Costco number to look on the site send me a pm. You can use mine.
