Caribbean Beach resort.......Who has stayed there and what is it like, we are looking at booking there for next year, but wondered what peoples opinions of it were?

We stayed there in 2019. It was ok. We were in Aruba, where there is a small pool and laundry facilities nearby, a nearby building had coke free style machines for the refillable mugs and it was a five minute walk to the Riviera skyliner station and about a 10 minute walk to OPR, the main area. There is a bus stop at Aruba to get to MK, springs and AK.
It is a huge resort, but I don't think that's what's putting me off staying there again. It was just a bit meh. Didn't hate it, didn't love it.
The rooms are bigger than the value resort rooms but I found the room quite dark. It still had plenty of storage and was comfortable enough though.

We've stayed there twice, but they were both while the renovation was going on. We stayed once in Martinique and once in Aruba. We liked it. The big pool was good, but our kids were also happy enough to just mess around for a bit at the smaller pool in Aruba.

The buses didn't serve Aruba as well as they did Martinique, but they have the cable car now from CBR, don't they?

It's the only place we've stayed in WDW, though, so we don't have any frame of reference for whether it's worth the extra compared to the value resorts.

Stayed there for the first time in May this year - was pleasantly surprised. Normally stay at Old Key West or French Quarter.
We were in Martinique, despite requesting Jamaica. No more than a pleasant 10min walk to the skyliner, and the super quick direct access to Studios was an absolute game changer for us.
Pool, public areas and landscaping were great, rooms maybe a little tired, but to me it seems one of the best value for money resorts at WDW.

We stayed in January 2019 and enjoyed it so much we've booked to go again for our next onsite stay in January '23 (DCL cruise first in September). We stayed in Aruba - a comfortable walk to the centre and very close to the Riviera Skyliner station. Enjoyed the theming and relaxed feel. We've stayed at Art of Animation, Pop Century, Saratoga Springs, Old Key West, POFQ, Beach Club and AKL in the past and loved them all. Skyliner was the decider for us - so quick to HS and Epcot. Agree with others that the rooms are on the dark side but we spend so little time there. We loved Sebastien's and with AoA, Pop so close there were lots of other options for QS food too.

We were thinking of CBR and requesting Aruba after resort hopping it in March, but, our concern was the noise from the Skyliner over head, can anyone tell us if there is a lot of noise from it going over so close to the buildings at Aruba?. We walked from Aruba to Riviera just to see if that would be quicker for breakfast and the bus stop than going to the main building, we thought that would be a good alternative. We really enjoyed the breakfast we had a Primo Piatto. In the end we have gone back to Pop, but, did like the look of CBR.

We certainly weren't aware of any distracting noise from the Skyliner going over head (it's really quiet) and our room was very close to the flight path. It would have been drowned out by the noise of the AC anyway!

They will be quiet in 'flight', but when they pass over a tower there will be some noise as they rattle over the wheels.
A quick look on Google satellite view shows several towers amongst the buildings on the west side of the lake (don't know if that's Aruba), so noise might be an issue in those spots.

We stayed there before around 4 years ago, very disappointed sorry for a moderate WDW resort, IMO Pop or AoA much better value and quality in terms of hotel.

Does the monorail at Epcot pick up and drop off at the entrance?
Also does it drop off at magic kingdom entrance

The Monorail has 2 different tracks, and you need to get off one track to transfer to the other track.

The Monorail runs from the front entrance of Epcot to the Transportation & Ticket Center (located on the opposite side of the Seven Seas Lagoon from the Magic Kingdom). You then transfer from the TTC to take a second Monorail to the Magic Kingdom.

Note that the Skyliner is located outside the second entrance into Epcot (called the International Gateway). Epcot is the only WDW theme park with 2 public entrances, and the 2 entrances are a long walk from each other. This means that you need a theme park ticket to walk from the Monorail station to the Skyliner station.

The best way to get a sense of this is to use Google maps:

The approximate path of the Monorail is drawn in red. The Skyliner station next to Epcot is the blue circle:

The Epcot monorail station is located at the main entrance to Epcot, on the north end of the park. The Skyliner station is at the back entrance, the international gateway of Epcot, which is in the southwest. There’s no way to go around the park from one to another.

The Epcot monorail drops you off at the Transportation and Ticket Center. You can then grab a monorail to the Magic Kingdom or a boat.
