What's the difference between categories 11 & 12? Why is 11 cheaper than 12?

I'm planning a cruise for myself, my daughter & my brother & can't decide between 11/12 & 10. I'm leaning toward 10 because of the split bath, but I'm just not sure!!

The 11 & 12 are the same, except 12 is on deck 2, and 11 is on decks 5-7. Going with brochure prices, 11 is more expensive than 12. However, DCL runs specials on the cat 11's, so they are sometimes cheaper. There are only 13 (I think) category 12's, so there really aren't enough to run a lot of specials on. I'm not quite sure who books the category 12's since specials sometimes put them more expensive than the 11's.

The split bath in cat. 10 is definitely a plus! It worked really well for us- family of four with two kids (ages 4 and 8)

Go for the split bath. It is a lifesaver/timesaver for all in the cabin.
