Check out the Disney Themed Wedding

To be honest...I did not like it...it seemed tacky to me....and since when were the Tweedles villians? To each their own...

I agree. I saw the pictures earlier and thought, "Oh, awful. The screaming red zonker hair...(do you think she always keeps it that color?) her make up and her cheap looking decor and the attendants costumes"...

But in the end, I hope she was happy with it, cause that's all that really matters.

I like the centerpieces & the cake. The other stuff (i.e. the costumes) were not my preference, but to each their own. They look like they were having fun.

I love everything about it and I think the Bride was so beautiful.

As a Disney Bride myself, it isn't what I would have done but bless them for having a great wedding.

I caught SO much flack for getting married at Disneyland and for *gasp* getting married on a Monday...all I can say is that I hope she had her dream wedding. It looks like everyone, including the person who escorted the bride (her father?) had a great time being silly.

I LOVED their cake! LOVE LOVE LOVED it! Everything else was a bit extreme for me, but to each their own!

I agree. I really liked the table themes. My preference would be something like that with traditional bridal party dresses - MAYBE a Tinkerbell flower girl. But the table settings were very creative and cute IMO.

Not a fan of her hair, but she looks so happy! It looked like a fun wedding to attend. Hope the couple has a long happy life together! :lovestruc

I think she looked like the bride she wanted to be...Ariel...and she was Lovely.

What really matters is that they had the wedding of Their dreams...

wishing them a Blissfully Happy Lifetime filled with Magical Happenings...:tinker:

and a shield against the nasty's :wizard:

what happened to ...if you have nothing nice to say.....I mean really...:confused3

The idea was okay, the themed centerpieces were unique and would make the seating arrangements fun. But it was all a little over-the-top for me. If it had been just a bit more subtle (dresses that didn't scream costume), I think it would have been lovely.

But, hey, it's their day. And they seemed very happy with it.

She looked like she loved her wedding day, she did it the way she wanted and I applaud her. Only on the DIS would people pick apart someone's personal preferences for their own wedding. Yes it wasn't your taste, but the point was it was HER taste and that is all that mattered.

I don't think I would do it, but good for her. Looks like everybody was having a great time and that's what matters. :thumbsup2

Looks like they had a great time. The bright red is a wig. I am guessing she was wearing it in the park too. The photo of her brushing the wig with the fork shows a bit of her real color.

I think it would be fun to be a guest at this wedding! Would love to see video of the ceremony and reception. What matters most is if the couple was happy and it seems that they were. I really liked the cake!

I like it better than those God awful "gone with the wind" southern belle theme weddings.

Hair was a bit much for me but loved the table decorations and the cake.

Like any themed wedding (Star Trek, Star Wars, medieval, etc) it means something to the couple and their family and friends. It isn't what my style, but more power to 'em! It's fun and silly and meaningful!

:thumbsup2 I totally agree!! As long as she and her husband were on board that's all that matters! Beautiful day with great memories!!! :)

Looks like they and everyone else in the wedding party had a wonderful time. Definitely an event that everyone will always remember! I say good for them - hope they can bring that sense of joy and adventure with them in their marriage and family.
