I currently have 1:30 ressies at Captain's Grille Xmas day, which I've come across has a special Christmas menu (buffet? brunch buffet?) but no details. Does anyone have a link to the special Christmas Day menus at Disney restaurants? Thanks!

And also for breakfast at Whispering Canyon. Any help with Christmas menus for either of these would be appreciated!

I don't believe 2015 menus are available yet. Thanksgiving was just published this week.

Thanks so much! Looks like Captain's Grille is a good bet for something a bit more traditional, ressies were easy to get and I don't have to fight mobs or traffic anywhere near MK on Xmas Day.

1) Yep.
2) Thanksgiving has the traditional turkey, stuffing, and pumpkin pie.
3) But, what is a traditional Christmas Meal?
. . . needles-and-cream ice cream?
. . . reindeer stew?
4) Maybe that is why so few eateries have a special meal on Christmas Day.

We ate at Cali Grill a few years ago, but usually do Narcoossee's for Xmas.

There's no traditional Christmas meals/entrees, but they usually do a dessert.
Two years ago, Cali Grill did a holiday dessert sampler. There was a peppermint mocha cake pop, something gingerbread and an eggnog creme brulee.

Narcoossee's had a white chocolate pudding dessert last year, served on a gingerbread cookie. The presentation was breathtaking.

I never even thought about a different menu for Xmas... Do you know about Chefs de France? Thanks, Jane

What about CRT, anyone know if they will have a special Christmas menu? We are eating dinner there Christmas evening.

. . . Nothing special for Christmas

Do you happen to know what the cost is for Captain's Grille? Thanks-
. . . Adult: $42.59, Child: $23.42

. . . Nothing special for Christmas

How about Artist Point? That's where we'll be for Christmas dinner.
. . . Nothing special for Christmas

NOTE: As I have said, there is not a "traditional Christmas Meal", so WDW does not usually have special menu items for it.

We've got a booking for Captain's Grille at 10:45am on Christmas Day, is the menu above the one we're likely to get? It looks a little more, um, substantial(!) than I was expecting for breakfast!

We've also got a reservation for Flying Fish Cafe that evening. Will that be a special menu too?

Thank you!

1) Almost the standard breakfast, but with a few extra touches.
2) There is no special menu or menu items for Christmas at Flying Fish.
3) Remember, Thanksgiving has traditional food, but Christmas does not.
4) Thus, VERY FEW eateries have special menu items for Christmas.

Thanks - I think Flying Fish have had a price fixe menu in years past but I'd rather have the regular menu.

Coming from the UK where we most definitely have traditional Christmas foods (as do many countries in Europe) I guess I was expecting the US to have some too.

Slightly off topic, however I was wondering what is eaten in the U.S. on Christmas Day?
As Iona said here in the UK we very much have Christmas day traditions and it is usually Turkey like your thanks giving meal. I was just wondering out of interest as I like knowing what all different countries and cultures do. Thanks

1) Our family, also, has turkey on Christmas.
2) But, this is not as universal in the USA as turkey on Thanksgiving.
. . . many enjoy ham or pork roast on Christmas
. . . there is simply not a consensus for Christmas
. . . of course, there is the ever-popular Reindeer-Stew :cool1:
