We bought Hogwarts letters from Etsy. She did a "because you're doing so well in Muggle school, we're admitting you early" letter for my 8 year old and a "sorry your acceptance is late- your records were lost during the war" letter for the 13 year old. https://www.etsy.com/shop/BalistiCreations
We bought two $100 gift cards with Harry Potter images. The cool thing about having the different images is that we could keep track of whose was whose when they were in my wallet. When I'd pull them out to pay, my 13 year old would remind me "Mom, mine's the one with Diagon Alley on it." https://www.universalorlando.com/web/en/us/gift-cards/index.html
I can't recommend robes enough if your kids are real HP fans. I really hesitated about this but I ended up buying inexpensive costume robes on Amazon, and I am SO GLAD I did! They also have house scarves that they wore with their robes that they got on another occasion. We bought the Rubie's ones. They have three different levels, and I'd actually recommend going with the cheapest (ie, thinnest material) for May. My younger daughter had the next level up and it was made of some sort of fleece.
You could also do a HP Christmas decoration. https://shop.universalorlando.com/c/Harry-Potter-Holiday.html
