New member still waiting on emails from DVC for login. This seems to be going slow at every step for me. Already within the 7 month window of when I want to reserve.

For the new members after closing on your resale and deed being recorded, how long did you have to wait to get the welcome email with login information? I know the email says give it 30 days but is it usually a full 30 days?

We just closed on our first contract a month ago. it was 9 days from when the deed was recorded to when we got the welcome home email with the login information. Came in 2 emails. One with the link and activation code and the other with the member ID about 2 hours apart. You'll need both to set up a new account.

Actually got the closing docs on 10/31, but First American included 2024 dues even though the sale will close well before the 12/4 cutoff that Disney requires to avoid pre-payment of dues. Also, they added 15% to the 2023 dues "just in case they go up in 2024". Told them they can collect them from me separately if it doesn't close by 12/4, and there's zero chance they are going up 15%, so they redid the docs with no 2024 dues and sent new ones today.

Chalk it up to Cammy at https://www.dvcclosings.com and seemingly motivated sellers, both were so responsive. Interestingly enough, while I do not know the sellers, it turns out that they live only a few miles from me here in SC. It is a small world after all...
