I already booked 3 trips for this year. I followed the advice on this thread to wait at least 24 hours to call. I had a cash room booked for June already and saw there was a studio available, so I explained that I wanted to try and use my points instead and it was taken care of in less than 15 minutes.

I already booked 3 trips for this year. I followed the advice on this thread to wait at least 24 hours to call. I had a cash room booked for June already and saw there was a studio available, so I explained that I wanted to try and use my points instead and it was taken care of in less than 15 minutes.

We've got a cash stay for early April but nothing is available when we are going. So we'll just stick with our cash stay and book more trips when we get our points.

I feel like having the contract points and dollars per point would be helpful in this thread. I would imagine that some of the delays are because there is likely a structured approval process on Disney's end. Meaning, certain dollar and point thresholds for certain resorts probably get sent to a higher level for consideration, causing further delays. Of course, holidays, supply and demand, etc, all play keys roles too.

And I booked our first trip for September at our home resort because we love it there.
