Hi there!

It made my day when I saw it too. :woohoo: If I ever get a chance to see him play, you better believe I'll give him the standing O then. :thumbsup2

He's awesome! We try to see him every year at the Memorial (it's in Dublin, so not too far a drive....or walk ;))

We especially love to go during the practice rounds.

Thank you Ford Family for that. I totally agree. I guess they just don't see how everyone can't fall lockstep in with them.

Now they are calling me an anglophile as if I am blinded to the truth by my affinity for England, little do they know:sad2: that I am offended because I AM English and that the Telegraph was my fav newspaper to read. I still peruse it on line nearly every day.

.

Tiger is a class act, always has been.

Oh and just to add fuel to the fire check out this one, Ol' Joe might very well have been right.

Lets see what happens when the REAL pressure is on.

Being rude and ridiculing anyone that fails to agree with them seems to be the game plan. When your arguments are logical and supportable, they have to resort to juvenile diversions, since they have no ammunition.

Yep, I had this happen to a guy who is a kool-aid drinker. His MO was to just get louder than me (he failed) and keep talking when I was crushing his argument. I finally won by ending it with "FU" and I haven't spoken to this moron since :)

OMG! That would be so awesome! I'd love to see him sometime. I've seen all his trophies and stuff at the Tiger Woods building at Nike in Beaverton, OR. :thumbsup2

:) Yes, I can hear virtual screaming from the os on numerous occasions. You should send him one of your O Checks to make-up. :lmao:

If we go this year, I'll take some pics for you. During the practice round, you're allowed to take cameras.

What I find completely and totally ironic is that this man who was suppose to be a great uniter, healer and unifier has caused more division among Americans, an increase in racism, and now with the government trying to confiscate Catholic diocese owned lands in Connecticut in a bill brought forth by two gay politicians, I also foresee an increase in anti-gay sentiments. BO is on his way to running our country into the ground, and with the way he is treating our allies, no one will be there to help pick it up. He is an idiot, and that is the nicest thing I can say about him.

ITA. Very ironic. Especially since Obama was touted as being the only one that could mend our international reputation!:rotfl2:

I'm not even going over to the dark side to read the explanations. I'm under "General Order #1" (no alcohol) and the only way to read an OS post is after at least one drink.:lmao:

BTW, Adventure by Disney Germany Tour was booked, so we're taking the Ireland tour.

Hi everyone...this came in my e-mail today. It came to me because I am registered as a DEM and was a Hillary supporter. Thought that you might like to see what is going around.....I enlarged the part I found to be interesting...:lmao: Good grief dont they get that the more they say about Rush the more people want to listen to him to hear what all the commotion is about him. I personally dont listen to him but I dont go out of my way to avoid him either. I dont agree with what he said...however If I listened to all of the noise from both sides I would go insane and to go this far with what he said is beyond me....and of course we all know that the Dems say nothing wrong EVER Ever Ever...:rolleyes1

So are you going to send in your e-mail :rotfl: gee bet he gets 95% Liberals signing it that have no clue what they are even talking about on what he said...if a Dem asks for it it must there for be a good reason....so I'll sign it...hehehe ..Oh and by the way dont forget to donate :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Robin,

At a time when we desperately need to come together as a nation to confront this economic crisis, Rush Limbaugh says he wants Barack Obama to fail.

I'm running for Governor of Virginia, and I've seen what happens when people try to score points instead of solve problems. It has to stop.

Leaders of the Republican Party -- both in Virginia and across the country -- must show once and for all whether they stand with the American people or with Rush Limbaugh. Virginia's own Eric Cantor, House Republican Whip, should be the first to condemn these remarks.

I need your help to put the pressure on. This campaign is a tremendous grassroots movement and together we can fight back against Rush Limbaugh and focus on solving our country's problems.

Click here to tell Eric Cantor, Bob McDonnell and the rest of the Republicans to reject Rush Limbaugh's hateful remarks. We can't afford to undermine the president in a time of crisis.

It's time for national Republican leaders to make a clean break with this kind of rhetoric. The only way we're going to be able to turn things around and create the jobs of the future is if we can put partisanship aside and work together to get things done.

That's why after Rush reiterated his remarks at the Conservative Political Action Conference, I called on the presumptive Republican nominee for governor, Bob McDonnell, to condemn them. Bob often talks about the need to work together to find solutions. This is his chance to prove whether or not he's for real.

When Rush started wishing that our President would fail, he stopped participating in an open debate about the right course of action. Instead, he was feeding a political culture that isn't about results-it's about who wins and who loses.

But this isn't the Super Bowl we're talking about. It's our economy. It's our families. It's our country. It's our future.

I want to know where the leadership of the Republican Party stands. Join my call to action today.

Click here to tell Eric Cantor and Bob McDonnell to reject Rush Limbaugh's hateful diatribe. We can't afford to undermine the president in a time of crisis.

Thanks,

Terry

I would think he couldn't be serious but I'm sure he is.
And I doubt any of our lib lurkers see the hypocrisy in this..."don't undermine the president in a time of crisis"? Really, libs? Preciely what do you think ya'll have been doing the last 7 years?

Another prominent democrat questioning Obama. He "gets it" too, finally.

Obama Supporter/"Mentor" Warren Buffet Now Also Has Buyer's Remorse

http://www.businessandmedia.org/articles/2009/20090309121612.aspx

A pair of quotes:

Obama Says Buffett Has “Shaped” His Ideas. “In last week’s final presidential debate, after Republican John McCain raised questions about his rival’s ties, Sen. Obama said, ‘Let me tell you who I associate with. On economic policy, I associate with Warren Buffett and former Fed Chairman Paul Volcker … who have shaped my ideas and who will be surrounding me in the White House.’” (Monica Langley, “Volcker Makes A Comeback As Part Of Obama Brain Trust,” The Wall Street Journal, 10/21/08)
Obama Campaign On Buffett: “We Look Forward To Him Helping Out Our Efforts.” “‘Warren Buffett is a great friend and an important force in the global economic community. We look forward to him helping out our efforts,’ said Obama spokesman Bill Burton.” (Celeste Katz, “Buffet Of Praise, Cash For Hil At Buffett Dinner,” [New York] Daily News, 6/27/07)

The blessing of Warren Buffet, the so-called "Oracle of Omaha," was critical in reassuring liberal-leaning members of the capitalist class that it was safe to elect the socialist Barack Obama. Sure, he had a radical past, but Buffet assured his fellow capitalists he didn't mean all that crazy stuff, and that he was A Man We Can Do Business With.

Well. Apparently not so much. Buffet slams Obama's payoff to the unions:

“I think the secret ballot’s pretty important in the country. You know, I’m against card check, to make a perfectly flat statement,” Buffett said.
And Buffet also slams Obama for taking his eye off the economy to pursue secondary and tertiary liberal wish-list items:

"If you're in a war, and we really are in an economic war, there's a obligation to the majority to behave in ways to not go around inflaming the minority. If on Dec. 8, or maybe it was Dec. 7, when Roosevelt convened Congress to vote on the war. He didn't say, ‘I'm throwing in about ten of my pet projects,'" Buffett said.
Taking aim at one such issue, interviewer Joe Kernen replied: "You might not have fixed global warming the day after - the day after D-Day, Warren."

"Absolutely," Buffett declared. He also told Kernen that the Republicans should provide general support for the administration, but that the Democrats should not be pushing "contentious" policies that are not related to solving the nation's economic woes.

"Job one is to win the economic war. Job two is to win the economic war and Job 3," Buffett said. "And you can't expect people to unite behind you if you're trying to jam a whole bunch of things down their throats. So I would absolutely say, for the interim until we get this one solved, I would not be pushing a lot of things that, that you know are contentious."

Right. We're in a crisis the likes of which this country's never seen... which is why we have to further hamstring it by imposing a $640 billion tax increase on everything produced in America. Because, you know, in 150 years the Maldives Islands might lose a foot and half of shoreline.

The Oracle of Omaha became the Oracle of Obama, and can now count himself as handmaiden of the destruction of the once-potent US capitalist economy.
