Copper Creek which rooms are which?

I have never been to the Wilderness Lodge Resort, so I am confused by the map.

It looks like the Copper Creek rooms are:
1130-1168
2107-2137
3106-3137
4103-4137
5100-5137
6100-6135
7106-7119

Is it one straight hall on each floor? Or is it L-shaped? The numbers on the map seem to have been placed on top of part of the building, so I can't tell.

Do all of the even-numbered rooms face a certain way?
Do all of the odd-numbered rooms face a certain way?
Which face the Boulder Ridge Cove pool area?

Here's the map I'm looking at:

The Wilderness Lodge, Boulder Ridge Villas, & Copper Creek VIllas & Cabins map

The entire South Wing (one closest to VWL/BRV) of the main building was converted into DVC Units.

As for room numbers, typically odd and even numbers are on opposite sides of the hallway. Not sure which faces which direction.

@GrandCalifornian has put together this schematic of the CCV room locations. Dotted lines indicate lock-offs. Even numbers face the Boulder Ridge pool.

It looks like the map might be incorrect for the sixth floor, rooms (6)100, (6)102, and (6)104. The fifth declaration came out last night and it shows 3 dedicated 1 bedrooms for those 3 rooms. wdrl is putting out an article on the DVC News.

Thanks Denise. I'll let @GrandCalifornian know.

I updated the map to reflect this, but there are still changes to make as now the room counts are off. Somewhere on the map there is a one bedroom that is actually a studio, and one that is a two bedroom to make the room type numbers work out, but we are getting closer.

ETA: For the OP, the odd number rooms have balconies that face inwards, towards the main pool coutryard. The even numbered rooms have balconies that face outward, which for the South wing is towards the Boulder Ridge Villas and the Boulder Ridge Cove pool. The rooms numbered x100 to x105 have doors that open to the lobby, and only exist on the fourth, fifth and sixth floor. The x103 and x105 rooms on the 4th and 5th floor have balconies that face the main pool and look directly towards Bay Lake, and are often referred to as "Bear Face Rooms" because their windows make up what looks like a Bear's face when viewing the resort from Bay Lake. The x100 to x104 even numbered rooms are above the registration desk on the 5th and 6th floor and have balconies that overlook the bus stops.

Me too. I suspect there may be some other variation in the 6th floor, and possibly some variation in the middle of the first floor. I complied the information from walking the hallways and using the declarations that have been released, and as additional rooms have been declared they have agreed well with my projections, but that area is one where I had to guess at the room types to make the counts work out. I haven't seen the floorplans for the latest declaration yet, but I am looking forward to seeing them. Once the resort is fully declared we will know for sure, but I will see what I can see in person in September.

Thank you for your help.
No problem, we're all trying to collect as much info as we can about this great resort.

It looks like the map might be incorrect for the sixth floor, rooms (6)100, (6)102, and (6)104. The fifth declaration came out last night and it shows 3 dedicated 1 bedrooms for those 3 rooms. wdrl is putting out an article on the DVC News.

I still haven't seen the latest declaration, but based on the description in the DVC News article it might be the odd numbered rooms (with balconies facing the inner courtyard) on the 6th floor plus the three that open to the lobby above the registration desk. That would add up to 15 units, and the type counts match what we have on the map. Is that what you saw on the declaration @DenLo?

I found the latest declaration, and it contains the rooms I suspected (the odd number rooms on the 6th floor, plus the rooms that open to the lobby.) So we have confirmed the map is now correct for the inner courtyard part of the 6th floor and the 1 bedrooms above the registration desk. For those curious, the latest declaration .PDF is here.
I also edited the first floor to get the room type counts to match what we know them to be, and there is ambiguity in the room types for rooms 1141 and 1145, so I adjusted them to correct the room totals. Time will tell if this is the correct assumption.

This is fantastic thank you! I thought there was more shower studios then tub but it appears the first floor is mostly tub studios with nothing else. Is that correct?

I don’t know whether you’re tracking this, but we were in 6111 from Monday to Friday this week. It’s a studio (as you knew) with walk-in shower.

Hopping in to ask which people prefer - the rooms facing the main pool or the rooms facing BRV pool? We have a dedicated 2 bdrm and was wondering if I should request odd or even. We previously stayed in BRV with a 4th view overlooking the pool and straight out to the lake. It was heavenly  Thank you(and sorry for piggybacking!)

we just stayed in a 6th floor room overlooking the main pool. the view was spectacular- we could see our to the lake. but the music during the pool parties can be loud, even up that high! if you’re looking to nap, i’d request the other side.

Not sure whether walk-in shower vs. tub-shower at CCV is being tracked and if so which thread, so I’ll add here that 6111 is a studio with walk-in shower. As shown on @GrandCalifornian’s diagram, it’s a lock off as well.

Overall throughout the resort there are 41 studios with walk in showers and 37 with tubs. As you noticed there are a lot of studios on the first floor, and they seem to all be tubs. The alternate studios in the corners of the higher floors (with x115 room numbers) also tend to have tubs. This accounts for most of the tub rooms, but we don't have confirmation yet on all of them.

Does anyone have the number of studio lockoffs that have a tub vs. a shower? If I counted correctly there are 36 total units
