Culinary Tour of Boma and Jiko or Tour of Sanaa?

We have reservation for Boma at 5:05 pm and since we have no park plans for that morning/afternoon, I thought we can do tour at Animal Kingdom lodge before our dinner reservation.

Which do you think is better? We have never been to Animal Kingdom Lodge and read so much about how pretty it is.

I understand you get "sample" of food from Boma at end of the culinary tour (if they still do that) but we have dinner reservation right afterwards so I don't know if that will "spoil" our "surprise" of what Boma food is about.

From what I read, Culinary Tour seem to be more popular?

Edit: Forgot to mention I also have reservation at Sanaa at another date.

It's only offered on Wednesdays and I won't be there on a Wednesday :( Maybe next trip! Thanks!

Does anyone know if the Culinary tour is still offered in 2018?

Yes. I took the culinary tour of Jiko and Boma earlier this month. I believe it’s everyday at 4:15. Checkin at Jiko. It’ll be listed on their activities calendar.
