Nicely done gents. Just remember...karma...
Would you have preferred if we said they took after you and called you pretty boy?
Nicely done gents. Just remember...karma...
Beautiful girls. Keep the shotgun ready
Remember how Jimmy Buffett sang that "I blew out my flip flop"? I didn't know what that meant until this vacation. For me, it was a croc shoe, but I blew it out and somehow rubbed a hole in my toe. I limped thru vacation and drank a lot of beer to make it through. Yesterday, it was red, swollen, and really hurt. I went to dr this AM, and both he and the nurse flinched when they first saw it. I'll post a picture of you want, but I doubt you want to see that. I now have an antibiotic for my toe. Another first at Disney for me.
Doing better today I hope.Woke up at 3am with this overwhelming need to puke. Didn't but I am walking wounded today. Think it is a stomach bug.
Everyone’s life should come with its own soundtrack. Why do I hear scary music in the background?
I have a couple of the “cease and desist” shirts myself.I remember your balloon logo and think I have one or two shirts with that on it.. Back before that we had the shirts we had to make ourselves at Vistaprint, which we aren't supposed to wear anymore.
Good times.
Epcot is just about the toughest spot for putting together an FP list.EPCOT for day two = TT, SE and JIIWF
In that context, it was actually quite the compliment.Good call! And a great moment in the movie.
Duly noted. In that case, you'd probably enjoy Spider-man: Homecoming as well.
Your stories about parenting are better than even insider knowledge of the parks. If only I was a former CM!
I think that another difference is that out in the “social” world, things tend to be reactionary. It's easier to get to know people over time in this format, whereas there are scores of people on FB who I've never heard of and have no idea who they are.
Karma? No such thing.Nicely done gents. Just remember...karma...
So long as you didn’t step on a pop top.Remember how Jimmy Buffett sang that "I blew out my flip flop"? I didn't know what that meant until this vacation. Yep. Me too!Doing better today I hope.
Now y'all are making me nervous about getting a T-shirt.I have a couple of the “cease and desist” shirts myself.
Another relic of the “BT” days (Before the Thread).
Agreed 1,000%Epcot is just about the toughest spot for putting together an FP list.
The tier system mucks things up mighty.
We went on Frozen in February. I think only DD liked it. Aside from Olaf, I didn't care much for the movie. As for the ride, the two jolts when switching directions were mildly painful(back). I don't hate it, but not sure I am chomping at the bit to ride it again either. We usually end up with either TT or Sorin; then MS and SE. Most everything else in the front of the park is walk on anyway. We did book an FP for Frozen this past trip, but now that I’ve done it once I won’t be going out of my way for it any time soon.
I guess this is technically "social", but I think it's also sociable and civil. I have never wanted fb, but from what my DW has showed me, it's very unsociable and uncivilized at times. I find it (insert adjective here[amazing/crazy/disgusting/etc.] so many people put all their dirty laundry on fb. So many things just don't need to be broadcast to the world for perpetuity. I'll reiterate(paraphrasing)...good to be HERE with a great bunch of guys.I think that another difference is that out in the “social” world, things tend to be reactionary.
That is rarely the best way to carry on a conversation. Places like this offer a bit more room to think through an idea and write up a somewhat more reasoned response to whatever the subject might be.
More debate, less argument.
Or at least there’s a bit more time to reread your words before pasting it in and clicking post
Again, I thought about saying that, but wasn't sure if I could get away with that here or would need to save that kind of statement for prayer thread.Karma? No such thing.
Completely agree with you. FB is better just for picture posting and where you are when traveling.Well said. To me this is just a fun group of guys to hang out with and spend a few minutes of my coffee break or at the end of the day with you (yes, I have taken you guys to bed a few times!)
FB can be fun at times, but it's not quite as personal as here.
That had to suck, I only do parks with good non-cotton socks and good running shoes with some of toes taped to prevent blisters. Please do not share a pic and hope it heals quick.Remember how Jimmy Buffett sang that "I blew out my flip flop"? I didn't know what that meant until this vacation. Same conditions around here. Only like to feel like this if I'm on a boat named Amazon Annie.‘Morning all…
Jungle conditions have set in down this way.
The moment you even open a door or window, your glasses instantly fog over.
Completely agree and we basically use the same FP strategy. Changed up on our last trip in that we hit Sorin at RD and then single rider lined TT so we could have a later FP for 2nd Sorin ride. This worked great though it was early. Will have to try this out later in the day at some point. Single rider for TT normally gets two of you in the same car as there are so many pairs of 2 that filling in the seats gets ya in the same car.Epcot is just about the toughest spot for putting together an FP list.

As long as there's booze in the blender. So long as you didn’t step on a pop top.
As long as there's booze in the blender.
Sorry about your toe. That's the same strategy that we use too for FP+. It's so much easier now that you can do that through the appRemember how Jimmy Buffett sang that "I blew out my flip flop"? I didn't know what that meant until this vacation. For me, it was a croc shoe, but I blew it out and somehow rubbed a hole in my toe. I limped thru vacation and drank a lot of beer to make it through. Yesterday, it was red, swollen, and really hurt. I went to dr this AM, and both he and the nurse flinched when they first saw it. The strategy I've used with FP+ is to get them all early (or do a rope drop ride stand by), and as soon as I finish the third FP+, get on phone app and book the next. As soon as you touch your wristbands to the Mickey, you can book the next FP+. It means more time on your phone, but less time in lines. You do more park walking, and it works best in MK with so many attractions.
We messed up and did our Taco's last night.who is having tacos today?
Glad that I don't have to deal with that. I just have to teach DS how to evade the shotgun blast.
It's the same here in eastern NC. I wore my jungle cruise socks to get into the mood.‘Morning all…

Excellent middle school science lesson; terrible living conditions

(and considerably funnier)
There's no reason to get nervous. A while back someone had designed a Disdads logo that used the familiar Disney D and he made it available to people. Some of us took that logo and had t-shirts made. (I think we each made our own) there wasn't group merchandise or anything like that. Aaron got a cease and desist letter from Disney asking us to stop using that logo. Everything people use today for logo's should be in the clear. It's one of the reason's the drama on FB is so frustrating. It's a bunch of people arguing about owning something that none of them created. I'm not discounting the fact that people put work or effort into things.Yep. Me too!
Now y'all are making me nervous about getting a T-shirt.
We don't use the single rider line on that ride nearly enough.Completely agree and we basically use the same FP strategy. Not to worry...Now y'all are making me nervous about getting a T-shirt.
It’s really just a cosmetic reteaming of the old Maelstrom over top of the same ride system as they did in the referb done for Test-Tron… errrr… I mean Test Track. We went on Frozen in February. I think only DD liked it. Aside from Olaf, I didn't care much for the movie. As for the ride, the two jolts when switching directions were mildly painful(back). Followed immediately by a Dole Whip and a monorail ride over to Trader Sam’sSame conditions around here. Only like to feel like this if I'm on a boat named Amazon Annie.

Naaaa…For soon it will render
Blowing out a Croc must be a first as well. Hope it heals fast.

I do believe that we can make an exception to the “pictures rule” in this instance.
May that heal quickly.

For me, it was a croc shoe, but I blew it out
Dude, I live in Texas we have them everydaywho is having tacos today?
Well said.good to be HERE with a great bunch of guys.
That frozen concoctionFor soon it will render
The only major difference will be the time spent exploring fort wilderness...
chatty Cathys I am trying to back read but find it better to just start off here.
I couldn't get through the Andrew Garfield ones. The first Toby McGuire ones were decent in my opinion. But I really liked this latest one. If you like Avengers and the Marvel movies, you'll like this one.I haven’t been able to get through the other Spidy films, so I can take it that this one if actually that much better?
That they are mate but they look mighty fine. For me, packing budgie smugglers doesn't take much room, right Dan?
Enjoy that one mate, sounds awesomeHope ya'll had a good weekend. This is an abridged week for me. Trying to get a bunch of stuff done early in the week. We're leaving for Florida Weds afternoon. Right now we think we should be done with stuff for my Grandpa by about 3 or 4 and then we'll do the drive from Vero to Disney. Booking last minute there wasn't much available so we are spending a night at Fort Wilderness and the Switching to WL. Because this was an unexpected trip our goals are to, really explore FW. DW's favorite restaurant "Uncle Julio's Rio Grande Cafe" just opened a location off I-drive so we will probably visit that. If Disney will upgrade our AP's to platinum plus for free (there is a DVC special on that now) we may try and hit Typhoon lagoon. Otherwise it should be a very relaxed trip, we don't even have any ADRs booked.
Hope you are feeling better mate, all the bestWoke up at 3am with this overwhelming need to puke. Didn't but I am walking wounded today. Think it is a stomach bug.
Nice pics mate. They look great in their Cinderella outfits and sparkly dance pieces. Must take after their dad.First, a couple pictures from our walkabout in Middle Cove yesterday, like I said, hoped to see the capelin roll but they weren't in yesterday.

To start off today, I was driver for Cinderella. Wasn't a golden pumpkin coach unfortunately, just a used Civic.

She was appearing as Cinderella this time (she normally is a "friend" of Elsa) at a festival called Nevaeah's Lemonade Stand. It's an interesting story actually. A young cancer survivor, Nevaeah who is now about 8 years old, wanted to start a lemonade stand a few years ago to support other sick kids. It's grown over the years into a festival that raises thousands for the children's hospital. Anyway, both DD's were involved. Youngest was there with her dance school.

Ehhh…
Say what you please.
In that instance I was intending to more metaphysical then spiritual anyway.
My experiences in life are just more along the line of:
What comes around doesn’t go around
Just the way it goes.
