Hope it heals quick. We need some warm weather to melt the ice here in NB.Still not a definite diagnosis but the doctor feels there is probably a hairline fracture on the inside of her forearm. That means a cast for two weeks and then rechecked.

I can't believe that there are people that actually believed that college admission was soley on the basis of merit.
I've been trying to avoid news lately as much as possible for Lent but I am amazed at what a big deal they are making about the college bribery scandal. I can't believe that there are people that actually believed that college admission was soley on the basis of merit. Call me cycnical but the wealthy, the politicians, the "influencers" have always been given advantages that the average person doesn't get.
In local news... the circuit court judge ordered our local politicians to go out for coffee twice a week with each other. Our County Executive and one of the magistrates are opposed by the other 3 magistrates so nothing is getting done. Eastern KY in general is going broke quickly and everyone wants to spend more time blaming each other and kicking the can down the road rather than work to solve the problem.
What ho chum chum, your flippety gibbets are tally ho and all is tickety boo. Rah Rah rah...Balderdash and mcstibbons, what a cheeky wiggly googly.
Nice.It was.
Good to hear it's not as bad as it may have been. Hopefully relatively quick healing. The Break of 2019 Update:

We had a few degrees above freezing yesterday too. We needed it to thaw out. Hovering right around freezing mark today but better than the -15 we had for the last month.Headed for another day on the good side of 0, on a related note the river Flood Watch has begun. Lot of snow in the river basin above us so here's to hoping for warm days and cool nights to keep the melt in check.
Nice.
Cora's I believe? One of my favourite places for breakfast/brunch.
Morning guys.
Thanks for all the well wishes. She'll get the final word this afternoon but the doctor last night said everything but the x-ray indicated some type of fracture. They put a temporary cast on it last night to immobilize it until she could get to the fracture clinic this afternoon. It is her right forearm and she's right-handed so it will be interesting. Any of you ever have to use a curling iron? LOL
