But, when I think of coastal, I think of striped fabrics. And, if you find a blue striped armchair, please let me know, because I've been searching for one for YEARS for our living room.

Would you settle for aqua with some browns, greys, and green? We saw this striped one today and didn't hate it.

I would go with a green or gray paint. I agree with the others, I can't see anyway to use blue.

When I am redecorating, I click on google images and put in some key words to get ideas. If you find something you like, you can copy it.

Thats a strong busy fabric...almost too busy. Try for a calm shade of taupe on the walls to calm it down.
