** Desert Island Discs**

Lets have a bit of fun, I love lisenting to Desert Island Discs on Radio 4! Its been a favourite radio programme of mine for years, so what would your discs be?

you can have 8 Discs, however only single discs and not full albums, you can have 1 book including any complete works (The Bible and The Complete Works of Shakespere are already on the Island) and 1 simple luxury item, but not anything that you can use to escape such as a boat or a hut or shelter or anything that would give you up to date information from the rest of the world etc

Then if the unthinkable happens and you could only save one of the discs from being swept away in the waves, which one would it be. I will start!

My eight discs would be:

1. Romeo and Juliette - Dire Striaghts! - Great Memories and will help me relax
2. Nancy Boy- Placebo- My favorite Band to bop about to.
3. O mio babbino Caro - Maria Callis - The most beautiful piece of singing I have ever heard.
4. Lets stick together- Bryan Ferry- Roxy Music - A classic
5. You ougtta Know - Alanis Morissette - Girl Power and I know it word for word!
6. Suzanne Leonard Cohen - Named after me and a lyrical genius.
7. Love & Affection- Joan Armatrading - My all time fav female singer.
8. Metel Guru - T.Rex - Just because it gets me dancing everytime I hear it.

My Book would be:

The complete works of Charles Dickens

My Luxury Item would be:

Suncream, my island is hot and I couldnt bare being sunburnt

The one disc I would save from the waves:

Suzanne - Leonard Cohen

3) Pharrell Williams - Happy (love those minions )
4) Munford & Sons - Little Lion Man

6) The Who - My Generation
7) Taylor Swift - Shake It Off
8) Ellie Goulding - Love Me Like You Do

My book choice would be - The Complete Collection of Harry Potter

My luxury item would be - Sunglasses. (I can get shade from the trees (there are trees?!) or if I am really good, a Swiss Family Robinson style treehouse )

If I had to save one disc from the sea it would be The Who - My Generation (as it is the DBF's favourite & it will remind me of him)

(really stuck between my book choice, the other being the complete collection of Sherlock Holmes, but I am going with HP)

If I had to save one disc from the sea it would be Juliane Brandenburg - Waves (this was played during our registry office wedding and will forever have a special place in my heart).
