Dismaland?

I'm surprised no one has brought up that he's the guy behind this:

So not his first brush with Disney. For those not wanting to follow the link, he snuck into Disneyland's Big Thunder Mountain Railroad back in 2006 and placed a life-size sculpture of a Guantanamo Bay prisoner inside the ride.

Again, a bit obvious, but still pretty effective, IMHO.
 
I think it's interesting and I would check it out if it wasn't so far away.
 
I like some of Bansky's work, and this appears, from the photos in the linked article above, pretty well executed. I also really enjoy satire. However, I don't think much of Dismaland seems all that original, and that is disappointing. A few things definitely stood out, but all in all, most of what was shown in the photos has been done before in some medium.
 




Is the ban on spray paint and marker pens meant to be ironic or just hypocritical?
 
That would indeed be IRONIC. Again, Banksy has rarely been accused of subtlety.

But then again being subtle also rarely leads to fame and fortune, both of which he has.
