Caesar Salad - romaine, olive crostini, pomodorini, and shaved parmesan. One of the best caesar salads I've ever had - crisp and refreshing on a hot summer day.

Casarecci Cavatelli pasta, sweet sausage, tomatoes, pecorino romano. So good!

Black ink squid linguini with shrimp

Copetta Sotto Bosco - berries, zabaglione cream gelato and chocolate sauce

Profiteroles - vanilla bean gelato between a delicate puff pastry drizzled with chocolate sauce with a dusting of powdered sugar.

California Grill:

Sourdough bread with sea salt butter

Oak Grilled Flank Steak flatbread - with roasted sweet corn relish, Tillamook smoked cheddar and micro cilantro

Maine Lobster Risotto - with midnight moon goat cheese, lobster oil and meyer lemo beurre blanc

Wild Sockeye Salmon - with hearts of palm, heirloom tomatoes, avocado, charred red onion vinaigrette

Grilled Pork Tenderloin - with goat cheese polenta, button mushrooms and zinfandel glaze

Sweet Celebration - Peaches and Cream - California Peaches, dulce de leche cake and panna cotta

Banana Creme Brulée - An interpretation of classic Banana Cream Pie with Creme Brulée, Toasted Meringue, and Walnut Biscotti

Anyone have any recent pictures from Chefs de France? Eating there for the first time in September and would love to get an idea of what it's like. Thanks!

This is the Ham & Cheese Quiche with Salad Dec. 2009. It was really good! Husband had Cheeseburger & Fries, how French right? We would eat there again.

Artisanal Cheeses - Humboldt Fog, Fourme D'Ambert, and Reypenaer VSOP $15

I don't know if these cheeses are exactly as listed on AllEars. There was a wonderful mild blue cheese with honey comb, a soft either goat or sheep with cranberries and an aged gouda with I think a rhubarb compote served with a couple different kinds of bread crisps. It was fantastic!

Tanglewood Farms Chicken Breast - "loaded" mashed potatoes, spinach, and bacon vinaigrette $29

I tried it and thought it was quite good but the vinaigrette was pretty strong and I think they tired of the acid flavor.

Grilled Filet Mignon - Potato Gratin, Haricots Verts with Garlic and Tomatoes, and Choron Sauce $40

It was just OK. The filet serving seemed small compared to other Disney dining locations but the potatoes were very good though!

Surf and Turf - twin medallions of filet mignon, lobster tail, potato gratin, broccolini, and Choron sauce $59

Not too impressed. The filet was overcooked, I didn’t really care for the sauce and the lobster was pretty chewy

Gelato Sampler - chocolate, raspberry, pistachio and cappuccino $7

All very good.

Almond-crusted Cheesecake - with lambert cherry sauce $8

I have seen pictures of this and heard others say how good it was but pictures and descriptions do not do this dessert justice!! It was mind-blowingly good!!

OMGosh if you follow the linkdoo above, check out the crazy corn!!

Yep, the Central American Crazy Corn. Tasty, but sort of a rip off when you think of it. We figured out it's only 1.5 ears of corn, and when you figure that corn is selling at the supermarket right now for $0.12 per ear, paying $9 for about $0.25 worth of corn with some melted cheese on top really isn't worth it!
