Disney in Niagara Falls

Sorry SandraC that I didn't reply in your thread, but the "post reply" button doesn't seem to be working (probably my computer). Anyway, we are planning on going to Niagara Falls for the day on the 23rd. We're game for meeting at the Queen Victoria Cafeteria an hour before the lights go on. Haven't made any arrangements for an overnight stay...still undecided about that.
Where's a good place to park in that area? Is there anything else special happening in Niagara Falls during the day?

Dave!!! How are you? I was just saying to Len on Saturday night that I hadn't seen you around lately. Hope everything is going well for you and the family. Hope to see you soon. Maybe when MaMudduck gets back from WDW we'll get together for a meet to see her pics and hear about her trip. Since we have no trip planned, I need to live vicariously through other people's trips!

We've just been busy busy...you know 2 kids, own business, house being redecorated etc.
I don't know Mamudduck, but anytime we can share Disney pics and memories, we'll try to be there...just plan some option days and we'll try to work one in.

Hi Dave, that's a good question about parking. Does anyone know?

I am planning on going, just not sure whether dh will be able to go because he has been so busy with work. If so, we may just go for the day. Or I may go and stay over at my parents.

What time is a good time for everyone to meet at the Queen Victoria Cafeteria ~ 3 or 4 o'clockish ?

Hi everyone. Doesn't look like we'll be in the Falls on Sat. It's been so hectic around here-renovation frustrations( or should I say insurance company frustrations.) I am looking forward to another meet asap. It looks like I'm in for some surgery in the new year but I'm sure a DIS meet would be just what the doctor ordered. Talk to you all soon. Kathy

I don't know if this is still an option with the casino construction, but last summer we'd park up the hill that runs beside Victoria Park Restaurant in the lot that is shared by Skylon and IMAX. It was a short walk down the hill and there was no charge for parking.

I've been lurking here.....I normally post on the CB........but our family loves Niagara Falls.....I only wish we could join you this weekend!

That is where we park. It's called PARKING LOT B. Usually it's free, sometimes there is a fee during events. Winter is usually pretty good thou. We also have a secret parking area that is free and very close to Clifton Hill. Two more sleeps and we are in NF! I BETTER GET PACKING! YIKES! S
