DVC Offer Discounts Bay Lake Tower Up To $48 Per Point

For a limited time, first time buyers can save up to $42 per point for purchases at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, while current owners can save up to $48 each for add-ons. These discounts apply to the resort's current base price of $245 per point. Discounts vary depending upon the number of points purchased, as detailed below:

200-249 points: $26 off
250-299 points: $30 off
300-499 points: $35 off

BREAKING: First 12 Disney Wish Sailings Cancelled, Maiden Voyage Delayed

Following a pause in sales, the Disney Wish has delayed its maiden voyage, impacting the first 12 sailings, according to Scott Gustin. The new maiden voyage will be July 14th.

Impacted guests will be able to book a new date and receive a 50% discount.

Guests will be auto-booked on the new voyage).

You can visit Walt Disney’s Hometown with this new one of a kind experience

A new, one of a kind experience is available to D23 Gold Members Walt Disney’s Marceline with D23 will take place on May 14, 2022. Guests will be able to experience Walt Disney’s boyhood hometown of Marceline, Missouri with visits to multiple places that inspired him.

This is about 2 hours from my house. Every year I want to go stay at the hotel and walk Main Street!

Almost hits our sail date of 8/1. Another delay and it would probably get to us.

We're August 12!! Same situation... current delay won't affect us but another one definitely would. And we already had one cruise cancelled because of COVID. We booked this one so far out we thought we were golden!!

For people who aren't locked into a certain time frame, a 50% discount on a future cruise will be great. But for those who are, it's sad.

Disney Issues Statement on Disney Wish Cruise Ship Delay


It has been nothing short of magical to see the excitement build among our guests over the past year as each new detail about the Disney Wish is revealed. Our cast and crew, as well as our partners at the Meyer Werft shipyard, have poured their hearts into bringing this magnificent new ship to life.

While we are all eagerly awaiting the ship’s debut, today we must share that our anticipation will, unfortunately, have to extend a bit longer than initially planned. The shipyard has notified Disney Cruise Line that despite their very best efforts, they will need more time to finish the ship due, in part, to the pandemic and particularly the arrival of the Omicron variant in Germany at a critical point in the process.

We visited Marceline with D23 back in 2018, and it was wonderful. The town was very welcoming, from all the school kids who met the buses to the people who had spent time with Walt and Roy when they visited Marceline - there are many residents who have personal memories to share. It's a cute little town, and the museum is excellent as well.

runDisney Runners, Spectators Will Not Be Able to Park at EPCOT for 2022 Princess Half Marathon

For Runners participating in the Princess Half Marathon on Sunday, Self-parking will be at Disney’s Hollywood Studios followed by bus transportation to EPCOT where the race will Start. Bus transportation begins at 2:30 a.m. and runners must be on a bus from either Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Walt Disney World Resorts, Shades of Green, and the Swan and Dolphin Resorts by 4:00 a.m. If not, runners could miss the access to Start or experience significant delays getting to their Start Group. Self-parking will not be available at Epcot on Sunday for any runners or spectators. As a reminder, face coverings are required on all Disney transportation.

For Runners participating in the 5K and 10K, parking is available at Epcot.
